#8: Felix Unger and Oscar Madison
“The Odd Couple” (1970-75)

You never really get to know a guy until you live under a roof with him. These two old friends initially think it would be a wonderful idea to move in together when one of them suffers a tumultuous period in their marriage. Oscar, a disoriented sportswriter, and Felix, a high-strung news writer who may potentially suffer from OCD, soon find out more about each other than they bargain for within the first few days of moving in. Whether either wants to believe it, the two are both highly dysfunctional and require one another to keep the other incheck.

If you can't trust your co-workers to have your back, who can you trust? Being natives of Pawnee, Indiana has given Ron and Leslie an immeasurable passion for the work they do in the town's parks and recreation department, despite their conflicting visions. Due to both of the employees' temperamental behaviors, agreeing to disagree is hardly ever an option, but it's through their differences that they've become so invested in each other. Best friends aren't always measured by how often they say they care for you, but by how much torment and abuse they put you throughin order to show it. Given their position in the household, Stewie and Brian are primarily the only ones who listen to each other, allowing them not only the ability to understand themselves on an intimate level, but the ability to exploit the other's worst tendencies.
