These famous people sure had a good year. Join http://www.WatchMojo.com as we count down our picks for the Top 10 Successful Celebs of 2015. For this list, our only criteria for celebrities it that they had to kick some major ass in 2015, whether it was on YouTube, in the sporting arena, at the box office, on the charts or in the realm of pop culture.

Special thanks to our user QVHough for submitting the idea on our Interactive Suggestion Tool at http://www.WatchMojo.comsuggest

#10: PewDiePie

Given that WatchMojo is one of the world’s Top 10 YouTube channels, this entry may seem like a shout-out to one of our own - but PewDiePie is far more than just a crazy personality. And while some of your friends may identify more with Jennifer Lawrence or Justin Bieber, Felix Kjellberg is on the verge of innovating the YouTube platform even further thanks to the fact that “The Walking Dead” creator, Robert Kirkman, has signed on to produce a new series entitled “Scare PewDiePie.” The concept itself may cause your Mom or Dad to scratch their head, but if the series catches on, it will mark the beginning of a new era in online entertainment.

#9: Adele

Oh, hello, Adele. It’s nice to see you again. Given the massive success of the “Hello” music video, you gotta give it to the British singer, as she not only upped the ante with her October 2015 single release but also enlisted one of the more transgressive filmmakers of our time in the Canadian Xavier Dolan, a director who released his debut feature at 20 years of age. Sure, Adele didn’t even drop the single’s parent album until late November, but that doesn’t necessarily matter for our list, because “25” is already the most-talked about record in recent memory.

#8: Amy Schumer

Top 10 Best Places to Spot Celebs

Truly one of the breakout stars of 2015, this comedienne was originally a contestant on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” back in 2007 - oh, and she’s also a relative of U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer. While some of you Mojoholics may still be “Inside Amy Schumer” virgins, which is certainly ok, most of you have probably seen her box office hit “Trainwreck” opposite Bill Hader and LeBron James. She’s a foul-mouthed minx with brilliant comedic timing, and her unique way of approaching taboo subjects has made her one of the most successful celebs of the year.

#7: Drake

A couple of weeks into February of 2015, this man dropped a surprise mixtape and made social media go: “WHAAAATTTTTT???!!!” Let’s be honest: there aren’t a whole lot of MCs that inspire hashtags. Are we right or are we right? What it is, Young Jeezy…Meek Mill. We’re just sayin’. Oh, and Drake even dropped a joint with Future this past year. Some of you don’t even know what the hell we’re talking about, but just believe us when we say it’s a great time to be alive. Of course, Drake IS Canadian, and WatchMojo loves its own, but when this man released “Hotline Bling,” even Donald Trump took notice.

#6: Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon Biography: From 'SNL' to 'Late Night'

In the past year, intellectual minds such as Jon Stewart and David Letterman have walked away from their late-night hosting gigs. While Jimmy Fallon may thrive on sophomoric humor, he certainly earned his stripes during his first full year as “The Tonight Show” host. Not everybody can go viral on a nightly basis, because not everybody is capable of combining genuine likeability with a natural feel for comedy. Jimmy Fallon may not fit into the category of “traditional talk show host,” but that’s what makes him perfect for the job.

#5: Donald Trump

Top 10 Celebrities Who Support Donald Trump

Some of you may be literally puking in your mouths at this very moment, but that doesn’t change the fact that Donald had a “HUUUGE” 2015. The guy hosted “Saturday Night Live,” he made otherwise laughable debates worth watching – seriously – oh, and The Donald might even become the next President of the United States. Seriously. Hey, we can’t vote, but some of you can, and beyond the entertainment factor of Mr. Trump, he does appear to know what he’s doing… well, maybe not, but then again, he might just be a distraction until Hillary Clinton rises up.

#4: Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Here’s a question for you millions of Mojoholics: how did you earn your dough in 2015? If you’re like us, you were probably “hustlin’, hustling” on a daily basis, but if you’re like Floyd Mayweather Jr., which none of you are, you made the majority of your money on two Saturday nights in May and September. To be fair, Big Money Floyd has spent years training and developing his brand, and it all paid off big when he earned, oh, a few hundred million dollars for the anticlimactic fight against Manny Pacquiao, who also managed to have quite the year despite the embarrassing loss. Remember this, casual boxing fans: when you pay to watch a defensive boxer entertain, you’re probably not going to get the knockout you wanted. Even so, we made Floyd even richer.

#3: Tom Hardy

Top 5 Celebs Who Own Their Own Private Island

It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since this man starred as Eames in Christopher Nolan’s mind-blowing film “Inception,” and with all due respect to his 2015 roles in “Child 44” and “Legend,” it was Tom Hardy’s modern take on Max Rockatansky that cemented his status as a bankable box office star. Let’s say this: moviegoers didn’t just LIKE “Mad Max: Fury Road,” they f-ing LOVED it, and while Hardy’s 2012 performance as Bane in “The Dark Knight Rises” was certainly legendary, his Mad Max performance was truly epic. Oh, and he closed out the year opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Revenant.” Not a bad year for Mr. Hardy.

#2: Cristiano Ronaldo

Not everybody can name the team this man plays for – Real Madrid – and some may not even realize his true nationality – Portuguese – but everybody has likely heard his name and seen his face. That’s because Cristiano Ronaldo has the looks and talent necessary for international stardom, and with such fame comes a big bank account. The footballer raked in approximately $80 million alone in 2015 and starred in his own self-titled documentary. Given the collective awesomeness of Cristiano, it can be easy to dislike him with a passion. However, he DOES seem like a good guy, much like his rival from FC Barcelona, Lionel Messi, who also had quite the year (despite that MCL tear in late September).

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
- Stephen Curry
- The Weeknd
- Kendrick Lamar

#1: Taylor Swift

Top 10 Guys that Taylor Swift Has Dated

We all know that Taylor Swift is and will continue to be a mega pop star. However in 2015, she did more than just collect her checks and live a life of luxury. Case in point: she set an example for the music industry by taking on Apple when they refused to pay artists during a three-month trial subscription. Once Taylor spoke out, the policy changed the very next day, which shows just how much clout the young artist has. Last year, Swift molded the minds of young talent on NBC’s “The Voice,” and in 2015, she inspired millions of adoring fans with her epic “1989” world tour. And while we can appreciate the monster year that Katy Perry had, it was Taylor Swift who set a higher standard for her fellow musicians and stars in 2015.
