Gentlemen and curious ladies, get those singles ready. Welcome WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 songs to strip to.

For this list, we’re choosing a mix of songs that would be ideal to strip to, those that make us think of stripping or strippers, as well as those you might hear at strip clubs. If you want to sit down it’s going to be a 2-drink minimum.

#10: "Pour It Up" (2013)
Rihanna

Co-written by Rihanna and a crack team including producer Michael Williams, this electronic dance track topped out at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #10 on our list, but is #1 at clubs everywhere. In "Pour It Up,” the singer- who is an avid reader of the Bible- claims that she “still got her money,” has even “got more where that came from.” A free-spirited strip club anthem that’s moody and enticing, it’s sure to make you wanna “throw it up” with her all night long! Money, that is.

#9: "You Shook Me All Night Long" (1980)
AC/DC

Top 10 Best Date Night Songs

An anthem from the first chord, this punching, hard rocker from AC/DC is a guarantee that the next three and a half minutes are going to be alright. Although ideal for any dancer looking to inject excitement and energy into their seduction line, if you happen to be visually impaired, honest, mechanical but clean and speedy as well as American from the waist down, well, so much the better. Dance with caution, however, as this song has been known to cause walls to shake, the earth to quake, and minds to ache.

#8: "Closer" (1994)
Nine Inch Nails

While not as lust-driven as it appears on the surface, this one is definitely definitely sexual...like creepy sexual. With its charged lyrics, and gritty, industrial sound, “Closer” is definitely not your father's go-to striptease track. Or at least, we certainly hope not... Although otherwise out-of-worldly, the NIN track actually samples drum sounds from Iggy Pop's “Nightclubbing.” But in a decidedly unsexy note, it, and its parent album, were recorded in a home best known for the Manson Family murder of Sharon Tate. It's probably best not to think about that though – and let Trent do the singing.

#7: "I'm a Slave 4 U" (2001)
Britney Spears

While dancing to this is bound to cause a stir, it may be best to leave your albino python out of sight. Showing a more mature, or at least adult side of Brit-Brit, this track was a top 10 hit pretty much everywhere except her native U.S. Written by Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, “Slave 4 U” was originally intended for Janet Jackson and has drawn comparisons to Prince, among other artists, thanks to its hypnotic electronic and R&B flavors. It also paved the way for more racier material like “Gimme More” in 2007. I think you’ve had enough, Britney.

#6: "Cherry Pie" (1990)
Warrant

Let's face it, if you're listening to this and someone isn't stripping, you're doing it wrong. Written in just fifteen minutes on a pizza box by the late Jani Lane, the song came about when label bosses demanded a rock anthem from the band. Although far and away the band's best known song, “Cherry Pie” wasn't popular with everyone and was even banned by Canadian video channel MuchMusic for being 'offensively sexist.' To be fair, there isn't a Nobel Prize for Stripping. Yet.

#5: "Dirrty" feat. Redman (2002)
Christina Aguilera

Like Britney Spears, X-tina was looking to shatter her 'bubblegum' image early in the noughties, and also like Britney, her efforts fared better outside of the United States. At least, when it came to this dirty track. Its music video has been noted by many outlets as one of the sexiest ever created, though it was banned outright in Thailand. Unbeknownst to director David LaChapelle, the clip inadvertently endorsed that country's underground and underage sex-trade. The video also marked the debut of the dance move known as “the slutdrop”, a move likely to be featured in a club near you.

#4: "Pony" (1996)
Ginuwine

While the metaphor is a little muddy- is his...thing... a pony or a saddle?- one thing is clear: he's very keen. Benefiting from the early production work of Timbaland, this track is popular in its own right and topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart in 1996. "Pony" later went on to be used to the delight of many in the 2012 film “Magic Mike.” Unapologetically sexy and with a drum-and-bass-inspired rhythm, the tune was also later sampled in Rihanna's single “Jump,” which hit 34 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts and strip clubs everywhere in early 2014.

#3: "Girls, Girls, Girls" (1987)
Mötley Crüe

Also in:

Top 10 Ultimate Girls Night Out Songs

Although many songs in the ‘80s seemed to assume at least half the population were, in fact, strippers, -the Van Halen back catalogue for example - Mötley Crüe stepped it up a notch or two with this glam metal number. “Girls, Girls Girls” directly references a number of strip clubs on the Sunset Strip as well as notable clubs elsewhere, including France and Canada. While the single was a top 20 Billboard Hot 100 hit, its music video was shot in a real strip club- the Seventh Veil in Los Angeles- and was actually banned by MTV for its nudity. Boys, boys, boys...

#2: "Don't Cha" feat. Busta Rhymes (2005)
The Pussycat Dolls

Also in:

Top 10 Most Difficult Songs to Rap

Well? Don't Cha? The ultimate tease song only gets teasy-er when there's a stranger with daddy issues dancing to it. Offered to and declined by the likes of Paris Hilton, this Pussycat Dolls track was actually recorded by Tori Alamaze, although it's unlikely anyone in the club will actually care. Produced by CeeLo Green and featuring Busta Rhymes, the smooth and sexy song is built around a sample of “Swass” by Sir Mix-a-Lot - who is rumored to like big butts and is unable to lie.

Before we take off our last item, here are a few honorable mentions.

"Bootylicious" (2001)
Destiny's Child

“Hot in Herre” (2002)
Nelly

“Candy Shop” feat. Olivia (2005)
50 Cent

“Wet” (2010)
Snoop Dogg

“Lollipop” feat. Static Major (2008)
Lil Wayne

#1: "Pour Some Sugar on Me" (1987)
Def Leppard

We've got the peaches, you've got the cream. Or is it the other way around? Loud, anthemic, overt, and slightly cheesy, we'd give our left arm to see a tasteful striptease to this ‘80s hard rocker- and we're not the only ones. Filled with reverb-drenched drums and guitar fills that spiral to the floor, this Def Leppard tune is custom built for butt wigglin'. And while the lyrics may be short of Lord Byron, they get the job done and are as at home on the small stage as they are in the stadium.
