VOICE OVER: Rebecca Brayton
What do animals, aliens and anvils all have in common? Why, Looney Tunes of course! These lovable cartoons have been bringing joy to audiences since the 1930s, and throughout that period new and more lovable characters have been added. From the southern Foghorn Leghorn, to the persistent Wile E. Coyote and the calculating Marvin the Martian, there are tons of endearing stars. But you won't find Bugs Bunny, Sylvester the Cat, Tweety Bird, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck or Elmer Fudd on this list – we've reserved this spot for Looney Tunes' lesser-known personalities. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com counts down our picks for the Top 10 Minor Looney Tunes Characters.

#10 – Hippety Hopper

Kicking off our list is a baby kangaroo. Or a giant mouse, depending on who you ask. All poor Sylvester the Cat wants to do is prove his unparalleled mousing skills. But, he keeps getting his clock cleaned by this innocent and unsuspecting Australian animal. Sufferin’ succotash!

#9 – Goofy Gophers

Top 10 Fourth Wall Breaking Characters in Movies and TV

I challenge you not to find this pair of British gophers adorable. Mac and Tosh are ultra-polite little rodents who are usually trying to gather themselves some food. Don’t get them mixed up with Disney’s Chip ‘n’ Dale, who are just flat out rude. Indubitably!

#8 – Speedy Gonzales/Slowpoke Rodriguez

Also in:

Top 10 Iconic Cartoon Characters of All Time

Speedy Gonzales and his cousin are polar opposites: Speedy is billed as the fastest mouse in all of Mexico, while Slowpoke Rodriguez is, well, the slowest. They both have their own ways of dealing with Sylvester, but they both emerge victorious. Man, that cat just can’t catch a break.

#7 – Tasmanian Devil

Top 10 Movie Characters With Main Character Syndrome

Don’t get in Taz’s way. This whirling ball of mayhem is always hungry and always on the lookout for food. But don’t worry: he’s not very bright and can barely spit out a sentence, so there are definitely ways to outsmart this destructive tornado of an animal.

#6 – Yosemite Sam

Also in:

Top 10 Movie Characters That Were More Important Than You Realize

When Bugs Bunny proved too clever and wily for his original nemesis, Elmer Fudd, he needed a new adversary. Enter rabbit-hating gunslinger Yosemite Sam: he’s quick to anger and even quicker on the trigger, so he provides Bugs with some not-so-friendly competition.

#5 – Michigan J. Frog

Top 10 Disney Characters We Want to Be Friends With

He sings, he dances, he tightrope walks, he wears a top hat: is there nothing this frog can’t do? Well, he can’t sing in front of an audience, and that causes some problems.

#4 – Marvin the Martian

Also in:

Top 10 Characters With Super Speed

Our buddy Marv is another one of Bugs’ most annoying enemies and is intent on global destruction. Instead of being blustery and intense like Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian is a more calculating menace. However, he has failed to thwart the rabbit, and that makes him very angry! Very angry indeed!

#3 – Pepé Le Pew

Also in:

Top 10 Purposely Annoying Beloved Cartoon Characters

This stereotypical French skunk may think he’s a suave romantic, but he’s a horndog, plain and simple. That unfortunate girl cat with the white stripe painted down her back is no match for Pepé when he’s in the throes of l’amour, but his terrible odor is definitely a turnoff.

#2 – Wile E. Coyote/Road Runner

Also in:

Top 20 Satisfying Deaths of Hated Movie Characters

Coyote may be clever and persistent, but the Road Runner is just fast. Their longstanding game of cat-and-mouse involves absurd and contrived contraptions, and usually results in injury for the Coyote. At least they keep the Acme Corporation in business. Genius, pure genius.

#1 – Foghorn Leghorn

Also in:

Top 10 Most Fashionable Characters from Classic Hollywood Movies

Taking the top spot on our list is one of the few Looney Tunes characters to actually bother wearing boxers. Foghorn Leghorn is an arrogant southern boy who is constantly tussling with the Barnyard Dawg, and singing unintelligible versions of “Camptown Races.” Considering how annoying he can be, he has a pretty short temper when others get on his nerves.
