With her signature panache, Philipps played French Resistance curator Rose Valland, who saved artwork from the Nazis during World War II. She’s portrayed early on as a somewhat immature party girl who has had a difficult past, though throughout the series she grows and matures into a character who’s taken increasingly more seriously.
