VOICE OVER: Phoebe de Jeu WRITTEN BY: Emily Blair
You can't put a price on the funniest "Superstore" moments. Our countdown includes Glenn meets Cloud 9's CEO, a hilarious heartfelt talk, Garrett's motivational speech, and more!

#10: Dina’s Halloween Interrogation
“Halloween Theft”

Dina randomly chose to wear a rather out-of-character “sexy police officer” as her Halloween costume. Luckily, it comes in handy when she needs to conduct an interrogation on Halloween. When some produce goes missing from the store, Dina takes it upon herself to question the staff and find the culprit. It’s already funny to see Dina completely immersed in her cop character. But it’s equally hilarious to watch the reactions of the staff members being questioned, especially Glenn in his giant hot dog costume. We also have to highlight Brett, who, in an unfortunate coincidence, is also dressed like a cartoon thief. No wonder Dina said she doesn’t trust him.

#9: A “Creep”-y Memorial
“Brett Is Dead”

Brett is believed to be dead because no one noticed where he disappeared to after a tornado hit Cloud 9. Before opening the store, the staff holds a memorial service for him next to a bench they’ve recently dedicated to his memory. Sandra even starts to play a song on her ukulele for him. The heartfelt moment quickly becomes much more amusing when it’s clear she’s playing “Creep” by Radiohead, which happens to be the only song she knows how to play. Although it was completely and hilariously inappropriate for the tone of the situation, it was a nice gesture. And everything turns out fine in the end when Brett walks into the break room alive and well.

#8: Glenn Meets Cloud 9’s CEO
“Town Hall”

The staff definitely feels the pressure when Cloud 9’s CEO Neil Penderson comes to visit the store for a town hall meeting that will be live streamed to every Cloud 9 store. Glenn is so incredibly nervous that he can barely form full sentences when the CEO arrives. But the real embarrassing moment comes when the livestream starts. At the start of his speech, Glenn farts, panics, and blames it on the CEO, who denies it. They blame each other for the gassy gaffe until Glenn is dismissed from the stage. Meanwhile, the entire staff tries not to lose it. He just wanted to make a good impression on the CEO. While it’s a mortifying moment for Glenn, it’s a very amusing scene for us.

#7: A Hilarious Heartfelt Talk
“Grand Re-Opening”

Romantic tensions between Superstore’s “will-they-won’t-they” couple Jonah and Amy constantly increased throughout the series. A significant moment in their relationship comes, oddly enough, when they’re both dressed as minions from the “Despicable Me” movies. While greeting customers in the massive yellow costumes, Amy blurts out that she’s getting divorced. Jonah is shocked and probably a little excited at the potential of a future relationship with Amy. In the moment, he offers himself as a shoulder to cry on whenever she needs it. Their conversation is sweet, cute, and a little awkward - just like Jonah and Amy’s relationship. But the ridiculous costumes they’re wearing make this truly a moment only “Superstore” could deliver.

#6: Seasonal Employee Interviews
“Maternity Leave”

Anyone who’s interviewed potential employees in a retail or other similar environment will find this scene totally relatable. Garrett and Jonah, hoping to hire someone who they would enjoy working with, are shocked by the quality and behavior of the interview candidates. These weirdos make their fellow Cloud 9 employees look downright normal. They run into ordinary problems, like inappropriate interview attire and bizarre answers to typical interview questions. But they also get nightmare candidates. like a man who won’t stop vaping in their faces. It’s one of those situations that’s frustrating and disheartening to experience in real life, but totally hilarious on a smartly written show like “Superstore”.

#5: Dina & Jonah Fight
“Workplace Bullying”

When Jonah refuses to retract his accusations about Dina’s workplace behavior, she challenges him to a fight. After leading a crowd of employees off store property to start the brawl, the two employees prepare to attack each other. When Jonah hesitates to go through with the fight, Dina delivers a hilarious line before tackling Jonah to the ground. The actual fight is Jonah rolling on the ground while Dina tries to attack him. While that would be embarrassing enough, Jonah makes the situation so much worse when he gets a little too… ahem, excited by the situation. His bodily reaction takes the absurdity and hilarious cringe of the scene to a whole new level.

#4: The Scooter Getaway
“Christmas Eve”

Cloud 9’s Christmas party gets way out of hand. It really goes off the rails when Amy dubs herself “Craymie” A.K.A. “Crazy Amy” and proceeds to get incredibly drunk. She tries to call her ex-husband Adam only to find out he’s at another woman’s house. Believing he’s already moved on from their separation, Amy, along with Cheyenne and Dina, decide to confront him. Since they’re so drunk, they decide it’s safer to drive the store’s electric scooters to Adam’s house. They move at a hilariously slow pace. And she really regrets this decision when the scooters’ dead batteries leave them stranded. Although it’s an embarrassing moment for Amy, the fact that she has supportive friends makes us feel better about laughing at her.

#3: Glenn & Sandra Have Had Enough
“Video Game Release”

Although it’s every retail employee’s dream to tell off their most ridiculous customers, they rarely get a chance to do so. But this fantasy does come true for two of the most unlikely characters on “Superstore”. Glenn and Sandra are normally very meek and mild-mannered. Once they decide that they’re done being mistreated, they go around telling off Cloud 9 customers for breaking minor store rules - like sitting on display furniture. It’s truly a shame there weren’t more Glenn and Sandra scenes. Their team-up episode proved they’re truly a dynamic comedic duo that play off each other hilariously.

#2: Garrett’s Motivational Speech
“Black Friday”

Black Friday is the busiest and most hectic shopping day of the year. When things get beyond unmanageable at Cloud 9, the employees consider just leaving altogether. Surprisingly, Garrett is the one who steps up to boost employee morale. But he does it in the most Garrett way possible. He delivers an epic speech in the style of some of the best and most inspiring motivational speeches of all time. But hilariously, all he really needs is to inspire his coworkers to give just enough effort to finish their shift. Somehow it works, and the entire staff is fired up and ready to close the store after a truly difficult shift - all thanks to Garrett.

Top 10 Funniest Upload Season 3 Moments

After working late to hang up new signs in the store, the entire Cloud 9 staff realize they’ve been locked inside. There’s no way they can get out until the doors automatically unlock in the morning. The employees make the most of a bad situation and throw a slumber party for themselves, complete with “damaged” alcohol bottles from the store and a game of “Never Have I Ever”. The night is full of hilarious escapades from the staff, including a dance from a very pregnant Cheyenne and a fashion show starring Glenn, Mateo, and Myrtle. This early season episode shows just how good this tragically underrated show has been since the very beginning.
