If you didn't see a channel you thought should be on this list, be sure to check out our first video of the Top 10 YouTube Let's Play Channels.

#10: Cryoatic
youtube.com/ChaoticMonki

Horror games have spawned the careers of many YouTubers, since the material makes for amusing visuals– and even more amusing reactions. Case in point: Cryoatic, also known as Cry, seems to thrive on a mix of horror and fantasy-themed games. His videos often let the gameplay take the spotlight, as he has never shown his face in a video. Cry's dry wit and thoughtful commentary meshes well with the channel's mix of livestream content and traditional Let's Plays. And with Cry's channel at over 2 million subscribers, it certainly seems like this measured approach resonates with people.

#9: BasicallyIDoWrk
youtube.com/BasicallyIDoWrk

BasicallyIDoWrk, hosted by a man known also as Marcel, is all about funny moments. Specifically, the channel is primarily packed with edited-down Let's Plays highlighting Marcel's wacky and weird antics in a variety of multiplayer-oriented games. What makes this channel unique is Marcel's ease with being an energized and excitable host. Unlike other gaming channels, which focus mostly on popular games like COD or GTA, BasicallyIDoWrk has massive content variety– including his original “Master of Disguise” series. With nearly 300 videos on his channel, his repertoire includes everything from Adventure Time to Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball Basketball. Offering plenty of chuckle-worthy scenes, Basicallyidowrk feels like a definite success.

#8: Speedyw03
youtube.com/speedyw03

It's tough to keep an audience on YouTube, so focusing on the finest moments in a play session may be the way to go. For the most part, Speedyw03 is all about compilations of awe-inspiring or laugh-out-loud moments. Host Lucas and his friends – collectively known as The Crew– spend their time casually playing games such as “Grand Theft Auto V” and “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive”. Their videos manage to deliver on moments that shock and entertain in equal measure, coming across as off-the-cuff. They're comfortable with what they do, and deliver some amazing sights. What more can we say?

#7: Daithi de Nogla
youtube.com/DaithiDeNogla

Though part of Vanoss Gaming's crew, Daithi de Nogla distinguishes himself with an embrace of randomness and variety. The videos on his Let's Play channel vary in content, though Nogla's oddball personality always shines through. Whether battling zombies or spending time with fellow YouTubers, Daithi de Nogla contributes much in the way of vocal reactions and amusing quips. Nogla publishes several videos per week, and his channel is especially easy to navigate as he’s broken it down into specific playlists based on your favorite game. A host can be pivotal to the success of Let's Play channels, and this one thrives as much on its host's personality as it does on varied gameplay.

#6: TobyGames
youtube.com/TobyGames

TobyGames, one of three channels hosted by Toby Turner– who you may know better as Tobuscus. The focus here is on bite-sized Let's Play videos, with Toby typically appearing on-screen via facecam. Toby's visible presence in videos helps keep the audience invested, pairing well with the quick pacing and in-game action. It also helps that Toby is a witty and energetic host. First joining YouTube in 2006, Toby didn’t create his gaming channel until 2010– and now has a total of over 15 million subscribers across his three channels. Combining good editing with a personable host, TobyGames is something we can easily recommend.

#5: GameGrumps
youtube.com/GameGrumps

Hosted by Arin “Egoraptor” Hanson and Leigh Danny Avidan, Game Grumps consists of the duo playing through a variety of console games. Arin and Danny's commentary over the gameplay primarily drives their videos, ranging from off-the-wall funny to surprisingly thoughtful. It aids in making each video's challenge a real struggle, with every victory feeling truly earned. The channel has something for everyone, even non-gamers as you can watch plenty of Pokémon content, or their original animated series “Game Grumps Animated”. And with its expansion into other shows like Steam Train and Grumpcade, the Game Grumps channel is here to stay. Thank goodness.

#4: I AM WILDCAT
youtube.com/W1LDC4T43

I AM WILDCAT follows the trend of carefully-edited Funny Moments channels, with an emphasis on group activities. Its host Tyler regularly delves into the realm of custom maps and challenges, and along with his friends, will gleefully take on anything that comes their way. Tyler's knack for conjuring up one-liners and reacting to bizarre events as we might is what makes us love watching him so much. This channel is full of the big videogames, as Tyler focuses primarily on Garry’s Mod, with a sprinkling of COD, GTA 5. Watching people react to gaming's weirdest and most unusual sights is rarely as engaging as this.

#3: KSIOlajidebtHD
youtube.com/KSIOlajidebtHD

KSIOlajidebt focuses on more traditional Let's Plays, showing off relatively lengthy bouts of gameplay combined with commentary by channel owner KSI – known also as Olajide Olatunji. KSI posts mostly FIFA videos on his original channel, and uses his newer one for a mix of popular games, such as Mortal Kombat and GTA5. KSI's solo content definitely showcases his intensity when gaming, but it's his sessions with the Ultimate Sidemen that bring about the most laughs and memorable moments. KSI’s videos are filled with jokes, his trademark laugh, and freakouts– and clearly he’s doing something right as his original channel recently reached 10 million subs.

#2: YOGSCAST
youtube.com/BlueXephos

Founded in 2008, YOGSCAST began with a notable focus on “World of Warcraft”. Since that time, the channel has branched out to include more games in the mix... and more personalities to enjoy. The videos' chaotic banter is matched by the wide variety of games, mods, and custom content YOGSCAST chooses to explore. Weird name aside, it's hard to find as major a YouTube channel as this one as they now boast 20 channels, over 20 million subscribers and over 5 billion views. If you don’t find what you’re looking for on the main channel, you’re sure to find something on the other 19 gaming channels. Fun fact: YOGSCAST used to be called BlueXephos. Good times.

#1: H20Delirious
youtube.com/H2ODelirious

Like many others on the web, we find this Let's Play channel to be something truly special. Going between AAA releases, indie titles, and modded games, H20Delirious appreciates all aspects of gaming. More than that, though, he grasps the art of the Let's Play; H20 doesn't take things too seriously, instead embracing the fun of games and the natural flow of each video. Another YouTube gamer who has never shown his face, he still keeps things light and enjoyable with his quirky antics and contagious laugh. In short, H20Delirious comes across as one of us – a gamer who just wants to share his experiences with the world.
