Interview With Rudely Interrupted Pt. 2

VO: Mihaela Coman
Formed in 2006, Rudely Interrupted is a rock band out of Australia. But they’re so much more than just that. Comprised of six members, all but one of whom has a disability, the band is a therapy group for its members and a symbol to outsiders that disabilities are not life-ending. Founder Rohan Brooks (the only member without a disability) explains that being in a band helps people living in their own world – such as those with autism – connect and listen to others. In this video, speaks with Brooks and lead singer Rory Burnside about the band’s inspiration, songwriting process and plans for the future. For more information, click Here
