This series is surely an overrated case, but the ending was just plain terrible. Spoiler alert: EVERYBODY DIES! Also, the original ending of the show was full of animation errors and felt quite ambigous, but the apocalypse inducing scenes of gore and despair in the movies were simply an awful sight.

Filler ending, enough said. A whole bunch of material skipped in favor of mech battles, and a final showdown with too fast skipped power boosts, and the ultimate bad guy gets killed with a single punch... "powered by courage", seriously?!

This ending was just a painful experience. Really, nothing like a conclusion was met, just a whole bunch of blood, screaming and dying.
