While "hardcore" anime fans grimace at the thought of English voice acting, the process can be hugely profitable and far more accessible, as subs don't typically get broadcast, period. If a series is good enough, just dub it. If you do that, casual anime fans - and the general public - will immediately take much more interest.

Once they're licensed, anime will typically be released in DVD collections. That's always okay, but some companies go overboard by not only having the DVDs but also minifigures, cosplay, and behind-the-scenes books, to name a few. This is a costly endeavor and could save hundreds of dollars by just not being done.

Let non-distribution companies handle dubbing

One of the reasons that companies go bankrupt is because of their decision to record dubs at home. It is however, far less costly to let other companies do the work. Such examples include Studiopolis and the Ocean Group, the latter of which gave us "It's over 9000!"
