Technically Kirby is developed by 2nd party HAL Laboratory, but back in the early '90s, HAL essentially joined with Nintendo for the Kirby franchise and, 10 years later, for the Smash Bros franchise. Still, I acquiesce that Kirby is a Nintendo published character since this same argument could be applied to Pokemon being developed by Freak.
