this is probably the best father son movie of all time. Set in the present, this oddly 'not-so-dark' Tim Burton film catalogues the story of Billy Crudup coming home to visit his dying father, played by Albert Finney. However, most of the film takes place in flashbacks as the father tells his son and son's fianc? the (annoyingly familiar to Crudup)
