Video Game Classics: The Secret of Mana

Known as “Holy Sword Legend 2” in Japan, this game was created by Square Soft, and published by Nintendo for the SNES. Released as a stand-alone title in North America, its predecessor was similarly renamed when it was imported as the famous Final Fantasy spinoff for the Gameboy called “Final Fantasy Adventure.” Centered on its own mythology, this iconic action RPG takes place centuries after a war between a civilization and god-like beasts. it also tells the mythology of Mana, a substance used to craft a powerful sword and power a flying warship.
