Is Fur Eco-Friendly? Made from the hair of animals, fur clothing is one of the oldest forms of clothing today. While fur is used to keep people warm and is often considered a symbol of wealth and luxury, it it seen by others as an unethical and controversial act by animal rights activists. Another side of the story that has recently emerged is one that states that using fur as clothing could actually be a good thing for the environment.
