No but seriously… what were they thinking? Welcome to Watchmojo, and today we are counting down our picks for the top 10 WTF Live Streaming Moments
For this list, we’ll be looking at the craziest live streams, be it from Twitch, Instagram or any other platform that supports livestreaming. Moments of great stupidity, be it voluntary or not, and of course some awkwardness! However we are setting some ground rules: We’re not including moments that could be considered a crime, and we're ruling out accidental streams since we already have a list for those. So Mr. DarkSydePhil can relax this time.
With the help of the worst iteration of the Harry Potter theme, Tyler1 introduces us to the marvelous world of magic! The only problem is that the notoriously hotheaded Tyler’s field of expertise is clearly not stage magic. He attempts several magic tricks with cards, goblets, a hat, a sheet… but they all fail. You can see the embarrassment in his face when he realizes his tricks failed spectacularly. One does not become the next David Copperfield that easy! But what counts is that he tried and got some laughs out of it from his viewers!
Maybe you’ve always wanted to build your own computer like some of the big name gamers. Well, Jerma’s got the perfect tutorial for you! [SB 00 : 06 : 07 Well, the first thing we do is we season the motherboard] Wait a minute… what did he just say? Is this a tutorial or a recipe? For nearly half an hour, he explains how to build the different pieces of the computer but he also adds spices, sequins, breadcrumbs, diamonds and other weird things. I mean… I’m no computer expert or anything, but I have a feeling this computer won’t be turning on!
A ground rule for any livestreamer out there, Never ever EVER agree to every viewer challenge thrown at you, especially you Hyphonix! During a special live appearance on Instagram, one of his viewers challenged him to drink water out of the toilet, and yes you can guess what happens next. His reaction is instantaneous, and he vomits in a spectacular manner. Sure dogs do it, but that’s because they’re thirsty and not doing a stupid challenge! His viewers thought he’d was dead, but for his sake; he missed out on a Darwin Award this time.
OK you’ve been warned, it’s funny, but it’s a really bad joke. The unidentified young boy asks for help from a remote user to repair his computer using a secret technique. But it’s neither computing nor cooking. And it’s not Jerma on the other end. This guy makes him do all sorts of preposterous things with his computer, such as buttering it or putting its battery in the microwave. Obviously, this doesn’t repair zilch and the kid finally realizes he’s being trolled. He’s not very bright but we still feel bad for him!
Some situations are just more than embarrassing. During a live stream, Reckful just straight out embarrassed his colleagues Forsen and Nani. While seated at a restaurant, he asks Nani to turn around and … [Ask if you would eat their ass”]. Bon appetit! He thought the two elderly woman were foreigners but instead they were English and understood everything! Nani was so embarrassed that she left the premises while Reckful and Forsen just sat there like idiots in total awkwardness!
Pro-tip Daasuke, if you’re going to use a lighter, at least know how that thing works. This not-so-bright live streamer tried to light his cigarette using both a match and a lighter. Only to have the lighter catch fire … which he discarded garbage bag next to him, Nobel Prize winner here folks. He quickly realized the bag was burning and tried to extinguish it… by using cardboard! Yet another Nobel Prize. After a few droplets of water he tries don’t do a thing, he’s forced to bail as the whole room is set ablaze. Thankfully the Streamer was able to make it out ok, Although according to local reports, other family members did sustain burns in the incident.
PhantomL0rd may have partied a bit too hard, but you be the judge. During a Twitch stream, he “obtained” a rare AWP skin in Counter Strike Global Offense, and decided to celebrate by having a shot. But in reality, it wasn’t alcohol, it was an organic coconut flavoured energy drink. Bottoms up for Phantom, who then licks the camera. But he got a little bit too excited and his stomach retaliated! He left to go throw up and was clearly ashamed when he came back. Keep in mind that PhantomL0rd was later accused of owning the same gambling site he obtained the skin from, So maybe this was some form of subconscious punishment?
They’re strange, they’re stupidity, and then there’s Pooflower’s questionable mental state. Decked out in some really strange makeup with a very disturbing attitude, she seems to have really lost her mind once she begins playing with a knife. Eventually it appears that she’s bleeding from the face, which is not very reassuring, all while dangerously handling the knife. Rest assured that it was later revealed that both the knife and blood were fake, however Twitch was not impressed by her antics and banned Pooflower from the site.
ZilianOP made the biggest mistake during his last live stream, but it’s for the best, and you’ll soon find out why. From the beginning, he portrays himself as a handicapped person, unable to move his legs. The situation even gained him donations from his viewers. But unfortunately for him, he forgot to turn off the camera after finally getting up from his chair. That’s when his viewers realized he was lying from the start and they quickly turned on him. His account was banned and his internet reputation has been forever destroyed.

Capncrunchrs will remember this for a long time after his wasted live stream where he took on all his viewers’ stupidest challenges. First he agreed to shave one of his eyebrows like a dumbass, and then he broke through a closet door with his body! Those are the last images we’ve seen of this Twitcher who immediately got banned in the middle of his live stream. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation, especially if you’re planning on being filmed!
