Harsh words, bare knuckles and blow dryers. Join MsMojo as we count down our picks for Top 10 Reality TV Show Fights. For this list, we’re counting down the most chaotic and sometimes confusing catfights among the men and women of reality TV.

#10: All Press Is Good Press? “Rica, Famosa, Latina” (2014-)

Top 20 Craziest Reality TV Show Meltdowns

For a show that was created by Joyce Giraud from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, one can expect a little feistiness– but things got crazy when a seriously bizarre fight went down at Beverly Hills’ Luxe Hotel. Rich Latina women and booze? Someone was thinking ahead for a little “buzz,” yet this kind of fight really isn’t a good look for anybody. Even so, catfights bring in the ratings as we’re about to find out even more.

#9: Bald This Bitch “Mob Wives” (2011-)

Given the title of this reality series, you can bet your ass that some wine and gossip will lead to some heated arguments. In season 5, Karen Gravano – yes, the daughter of Sammy “The Bull” - accepted Natalie Guercio’s challenge, and the two grown women exchanged blows, which is a polite way of saying these gangsters went for the jugular, or um, the hair. While both women essentially displayed their ground skills without landing any major blows, the chaos and personalities involved makes for one of the more memorable reality TV fights.

#8: Stephen’s Plight “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” (2004-06)

Top 10 Stephen Colbert Moments

When you grow up as privileged kid in Orange County, California, and take your girlfriend to Cabo for Spring Break, chances are that things won’t go how you initially planned. Just ask Stephen Colletti, who set a new standard for teenage reality TV stars when he melted down on camera while his girl, Kristin Cavallari, got her bar dance on. Thankfully, there was no physical violence involved, but Stephen’s pouting hilariously contrasted Kristin’s carefree attitude. Maybe just stick with Netflix next time, dude.

#7: Be. Quiet. Tiffany. “America’s Next Top Model” (2003-15)

Once the Queen of the runway and now one of the most powerful executives of the modeling industry, Tyra Banks changed the game with her landmark reality series that aired for 22 seasons, but not all contestants were always up for the challenge. In season 4, a girl named Tiffany Richardson failed to make the cut and Ms. Tyra was not too pleased with her chilled out reaction. By that, we mean Tyra gave new meaning to the word ‘fierce” as she unleashed a verbal ass-whooping. All joking aside, it came from a good place and showcased what it takes to make it, at least on this show.

#6: Flipping Out “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (2009-)

In the book “Cop Without a Badge” - an undercover mob tale about the exploits of Kevin Maher - a certain accusation was made towards one of the Real Housewives named Danielle Staub, and a fellow cast member named Teresa Giudice took full advantage of the juicy details. Nothing makes a grand statement like a good table flip, but it’s clear that Danielle probably didn’t premeditate this reality TV crime. She did, however, scare the crap out of everybody.

#5: Nut-Biting Joes “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (2009-)

Top 10 Crazy Fights on The Real Housewives of New Jersey

In Season 5, Lake George was the setting for a heated throw down between a couple ‘o Joes that were obviously dealing with a few issues. Once Teresa’s own brother labels her as “scum,” well, her husband rightfully stood up for his woman, but he probably wasn’t expecting a raging bull to stomp him down. Despite the relatively contained collision, this one certainly could have been a lot worse if the multitude of referees weren’t there to step in. You know what they say: it’s all fun and games until someone bites a nut.

#4: Haymakers and Extensions “Bad Girls Club” (2006-)

After eight full seasons of Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club”, the producers decided it was time for a little more flavor below the border, and a couple of gals undoubtedly deliver the goods. A few episodes in, a rivalry already formed between Jersey City’s “Sultry Spitfire” Christina Salgado and Boston’s “Devious Diva” Julia. When the two crossed paths in the kitchen, they went absolutely insane, launching thunderous blows and insults. Just when you thought the fiasco was over, Christina blazes up Julie’ extensions, thus fulfilling her destiny as “The Sultry Spitfire” before getting bounced from the pad.

#3: Technical Knock Out “Jersey Shore” (2009-12)

When the crew traveled to Florence, Italy for the show’s fourth season, some of the existing drama revealed itself in when The Situation got a little too inquisitive about Ronnie and Sammie’s relationship. However, from Mike’s perspective, he seemed to be sick and tired of being sick and tired. And just like Snookie can get schnickered instantaneously, The Sitch exploded within the Florentine pad as Ronnie anticipated a possible brawl. But in a surprise twist, Mike hyped himself up a little too much and lost the contest by way of a technical knock out. But then again, surprises were kind of a regular thing for this group!

#2: Loogie Launch “Flavor of Love” (2006-08)

In this scenario, a couple girls named “Pumpkin” and “New York” were battling for the love of “Flavor Flav”, so considering the amount of egos and monikers, a nasty catfight seemed unavoidable. Surprisingly, it came AFTER Pumpkin was eliminated, which allowed for her true colors to come out along with a well-placed spit rocket that New York almost swallowed up. Nobody was expecting the loogie victim to blow up like she did, including Pumpkin. Hey, at least they waited a bit, unlike the girls of Season 2. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. • Budden Out “Love & Hip Hop” (2011-) • A Shot at Love “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” (2007-08) • The Slap “The Real World: Seattle” (1992-) • The Leg “The Real Housewives of New York City” (2008-) • You Know What You Did! “The Hills” (2006-10)

#1: Nia’s 2 For 1 Combo “The Real World: Portland” (2013)

Top 10 Times Reality Show Judges Went TOO Far

In the penultimate episode of season 28, Real Worlders Nia and Johnny tried to resolve their differences…which happened to involve dog crap. Of course, there were probably some other matters at play here, but what’s important is the troubling behavior of Nia, who not only puts a hurtin’ on Johnny, but aims to secure the 2 for 1 combo involving his girl Averey. Unfortunately for both, and more so for Johnny, Nia took to the blow-dryer, which instigated the #1 reality TV fight of all time and certainly the #1 display of psychotic behavior on the iconic MTV series.
