#10: Amandla Stenberg Rue

Since her heartbreaking portrayal of Rue, Katniss’ small but mighty young ally, Amandla Stenberg has shown that her might extends not just beyond the universe of the riveting franchise but that it has also reached other realms. Apart from the numerous films and TV shows she has since scored roles in – including the heart-wrenching indie flick ‘Everything, Everything,’ and supernatural series ‘Sleepy Hollow’ – she is known for her outspoken beliefs on sexuality, gender identity, and race issues. In the mid 2010s, she became part of Oprah Winfrey’s list of SuperSoul 100 visionaries and influential leaders and gave a powerful talk on her activism. The multi-talented starlet has also released 2 EPs with her folk band ‘Honeywater,’ co-written fantasy comic book ‘Niobe,’ and made a cameo in Beyonce’s music video for Lemonade!

#9: Lenny Kravitz Cinna

Lenny Kravitz has much in common with his role as Katniss’ noble stylist Cinna in The Hunger Games: his impeccable taste and boundless creativity has taken form in numerous ways since his role in the franchise. Thought still dabbling in the acting universe, with multiple cameos and a recurring role in musical drama TV series ‘Star’ under his belt, Kravitz has focused on continuing his esteemed music career, releasing studio albums ‘Strut’ in 2014 and ‘Raise Vibration’ in 2018. He has also turned his creative eye to the design world, establishing his firm ‘Kravitz Design’ in 2003 and partnering with modern furniture store CB2 to design ‘70s inspired pieces with his own unique twist.

Donald Sutherland’s performance as the tyrannical ruler of Panem, Coriolanus Snow, was bone-chilling, to say the least. Since shooting for the Hunger Games, the veteran actor hasn’t stopped adding credits to his acclaimed career. In 2015, he became the on-screen father to his off-screen son, Kiefer, as they starred alongside each other in the Western drama ‘Forsaken.’ He offered his acting wisdom as a member of the main competition jury of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and was finally celebrated for his remarkable acting career by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2017, receiving an honorary Oscar. With HBO miniseries “The Undoing” scheduled for release in late 2020, it doesn’t seem like the legendary star is slowing down anytime soon!

Stanley Tucci wowed us with his on-point performance of the dazzling Master of Ceremonies of the Hunger Games, Caesar Flickerman. Tucci has since showcased his talent in a number of dynamic roles. This includes Greek God Dionysus in ‘Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,’ lawyer Mitchell Garabedian in ‘Spotlight,’ and some dabbling in the world of voice acting, portraying Maestro Cadenza in the 2017 live-action adaptation of ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ Alongside his venerated acting career, the Emmy-award winning actor has also – quite literally – demonstrated his creative chops through the release of 2 cookbooks.

After her breakout performance in the franchise, she went on to star as Rachel in the 2017 fantastical film ‘Into the Rainbow.’ Before that though, 2015 saw her compete in the 20th season of ‘Dancing with The Stars’ with ballroom dancer Mark Ballas, snatching the title of youngest contestant to take part in the popular TV series. Shields landed a starring role in the Netflix drama ‘Spinning Out,’ which delved into the world of competitive ice skating. The young star has also embraced other art forms, creating a powerful photo series titled ‘Dear Social Media,’ exploring the unique pressures women face in the modern age.
