The truth is out about ‘The God of Lies and Mischief’!!! In a recent press release, Disney announced that the mischievous and malicious fan-favourite Marvel villain Loki will be getting his own live-action show:
“Disney+ is also assembling a live-action series centered around a fan-favorite character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iger today confirmed that Marvel Studios is developing a series based on Loki, the god of mischief, to star Tom Hiddleston.”
That’s right. Not only will the show be picked up by Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, but the role of Loki will be picked back up by Tom Hiddleston, who proved himself quite worthy with his portrayal of the villain in all three “Thor” films as well as the “Avengers” franchise, with his latest work in “Avengers: Infinity War“. The show’s timeline remains unclear, meaning the fate of Thor’s spiteful sorcerer of a brother after the last “Avengers” film is still up in the air, but for now all we know is that Tom is in and according to his recent return from a Twitter hiatus, he’s ready for “more mischief”!
