Fans have been waiting a long time for the return of proper ReBoot, and it seems the wait continues.

The 2001 cliffhanger to the original pioneer CGI series ReBoot (that ran from 1994) not only ended the iconic show’s run, but had featured the return of MegaByte, hellbent on nothing but vengeance.

When seemingly captured and told that he would be changed from a virus into something else, he responded to Bob, “A fate worse than deletion?… and they call me a Monster!” Well, Rainmaker has released the first 10 episodes of their reboot of ReBoot, and it personifies this quote, with the revival having stripped away everything that made the source material great and beloved.

In a way, it’s kid of refreshing that the horrific and massively downvoted trailer leading up to the release was not misleading. It was exactly indicative of the product that arrived in the end.
