A spectacular building right on the coast, the vibrant Don CeSar Beach Resort is a hotel that was originally opened in 1928. With a reputation as an escape for America’s rich and famous, this building was placed on the American register of National Historic Places. This “Pink Palace” features high archways and windows that offer spectacular views of the nearby beach.

Ringling Museum of Art

Located in Sarasota, the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art features a wide variety of artifacts, paintings and sculptures of different time periods and styles for all to enjoy. Established in 1927 by one of the Ringling Brothers, today this museum is Florida’s official state art museum.

Cape Florida Lighthouse

Built in 1825, the Cape Florida Lighthouse is considered the oldest structure in Florida’s Dade Country. Found on Key Biscayne, it is also one of Florida’s most renowned landmarks. The 95-foot high white brick tower has withstood its fair share of attacks, and today stands as a symbol of the region’s history. Visitors may climb to the top to witness the phenomenal beach and ocean views this tower has to offer.
