Top 10 Triple Threat Queens on RuPaul’s Drag Race

Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the most impressive multitalented queens to have competed on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Some spoilers may be mentioned, so this is your official warning!

#10: Bob the Drag Queen

As the winner of Season 8, her being multitalented seems like a given. Yet, all the expertise Bob the Drag Queen displayed on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” was just a fraction of her true abilities. On the show, she wowed audiences with her impressive acting and comedy skills in challenges like the Snatch Game and “RuCo’s Empire.” Since winning the crown, she’s flaunted even more of her talents. She’s slayed the stage in iconic plays and musicals, which helped her show off her impeccable performance skills. She’s also revealed an aptitude for rapping and songwriting, and has dropped several tracks demonstrating both. She’s even had a historical fiction book published, proving that her gifts aren’t just limited to the stage.

#9: Gigi Goode

During her impressive run on Season 12, she displayed a wide berth of talent. Gigi Goode slayed a variety of challenges, from Snatch Game to the Rusical. Although she fell just short of the crown, she flaunted her impressive singing, dancing, and acting skills throughout the competition. She also revealed exceptional artistry when it came to designing looks. In the years since competing, she has leaned more into that skillset. She’s modeled garments for other companies, allowing her to step fully into the fashion world. In 2024, she designed and launched her very first line of clothing, which she also modeled herself. One piece was even featured at a red carpet event, signaling the beginning of a long and successful career in the field.

#8: Jane Don’t

She might be one of the most recent queens to have joined the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” franchise, but she’s already proven to be one of the most talented. During the eighteenth season, she wowed the judges week after week and was in the top for ten straight episodes. She slayed virtually every episode and made some skills appear effortless. Her performances in the girl groups challenge and Rusical helped her show off her singing and dancing abilities. Her political ad and Truman Capote impression during Snatch Game were masterclasses in acting. She even proved to be a proficient designer and seamstress. Although she stumbled towards the end, she had a generational run-up to that point, and undoubtedly proved her status as a triple threat.

#7: Rosé

Throughout the thirteenth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” she proved she was anything but a Porkchop Queen. Each week, Rosé revealed a talent in a different artistic field. She demonstrated an impressive array of live performance skills, such as her impressive dancing in “Disco-mentary” and her incredible vocal chops in “Phenomenon” and “Social Media: The Unverified Rusical.” She rounded those out with fantastic showings in the improv and outfit design challenges, which made her a strong contender for the crown. Although she fell just short of being named America’s next drag superstar, she hasn’t slowed down. She’s continued to flaunt her status as a triple threat with her own music and appearances in live stage productions.

#6: Plasma

Even with all the heavy hitters on Season 16, she still managed to stand out amongst them. From the very beginning, it was clear that Plasma shouldn’t be underestimated. In her talent show performance alone, she displayed a knack for singing, comedy, and celebrity impressions. As the show progressed, she snagged wins for similar skills in other challenges. Her Barbra Streisand impersonation in “RDR Live!” was a flawless representation of her vocal chops and comedic timing. Even more iconic was her showing as Mariah Grande in “The Sound of Rusic,” which allowed her to flaunt her dancing abilities. Although she was eliminated prior to the finale, she has gone on to hone her musical strengths with the release of her debut album in 2025.

#5: Peppermint

Some queens tap more into their skills as a triple threat after their run on the show. Peppermint is the perfect example. Although she displayed plenty of expertise in comedy and dancing during Season 9, the abilities she’s showcased outside of the franchise have been just as impressive. She put out original music long before appearing on television, but each subsequent release following her time on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has continued to demonstrate her impressive vocal chops. Theatre and television have helped her hone her skills even further. Her roles in productions like “Head Over Heels” have allowed her to better flaunt her choreography and live performance talents, while her spots on shows like “Pose” have helped her perfect her acting.

#4: Marcia Marcia Marcia

She weaponized her BFA in the best way possible. During Marcia Marcia Marcia’s time on Season 15, she set out to show why theatre queens shouldn’t be disregarded. Her talent show perfectly blended dance and comedy, while her Snatch Game performance as Tim Gunn helped her show off her acting skills. Although she was eliminated before she could sing live, she’s had plenty of opportunities off the show to do so. She’s made a name for herself out of drag in live theatre, where she’s performed on and off Broadway. She even got a chance to play the coveted role of Emcee in the 2024 “Cabaret” revival. It’s clear she’s just getting started— and we can’t wait to see how she wields her gifts next.

#3: Shea Couleé

Category is… triple threat! Across all of her appearances within the franchise and beyond, Shea Couleé has been the very definition of multitalented. Her musical chops are uncontested, with both her original music and her verses on the show demonstrating her singing, rapping, and songwriting skills. She’s also been able to flex her dancing abilities in various challenges and lip syncs, making her a formidable competitor to go up against. She’s also more than proven that she’s a proficient actor as well, both in a comedic and dramatic sense. Whether it’s a comedy sketch on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” or a spot on a TV show within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Shea has taken on each role with ease.

#2: Jan

Gigi Goode wasn’t the only well-rounded queen to have competed on the twelfth season of the show. Her fellow contestant, Jan Sport, displayed multiple talents for the judges and fans to enjoy. Throughout both seasons she appeared on, she showed off her incredible singing voice. She showcased some impressive dancing skills as well, particularly as Lady Gaga in All Star 6’s halftime challenge and as Madonna in her debut Rusical. If you thought her artistry ended there, think again – she also proved she was a proficient actor during both of her runs. Since her time in the franchise, she’s continued to hone those skills, and we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw her name in lights sometime soon.

During both of Jinkx Monsoon’s winning runs, she used Snatch Game to demonstrate her impeccable comedic timing and acting, and has even shown off a few impressive dance moves in Season 5’s ballet challenge. She has also flexed her impressive vocal chops both on and off the show.
