It’s the list Mojoholics have been demanding since the beginning. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 memorable female nude scenes in film.

For this list, we’re taking a look at the most memorable scenes in cinema where actresses take it all off. The leg-crossing scene in “Basic Instinct,” while iconic, wasn’t considered since Sharon Stone wasn’t actually nude. Also, Michael Fassbender in “Shame” didn’t make the cut as this list is for women only.

#10: Angelina Jolie
“Gia” (1998)

Before she was one of the most famous actresses in the world, Angelina Jolie was busy giving one of the best performances of her career while simultaneously showing off her natural talents – so to speak. Playing the doomed fashion model that fell hard for a make-up artist and even harder for drugs, the two share an incredibly hot photo shoot, followed by an even hotter sex scene, which fades to the morning where a nude Gia shamelessly follows her lover to the elevator. Angelina has appeared nude in many of her films since, but her work in “Gia” stands above them all.

“Porky’s” (1981)

If you were going through puberty in the early ‘80s and you were looking for a movie that would appeal to your baser instincts, “Porky’s” was the film for you. Featuring a bevy of beautiful young women showering fully nude – as you do – filmgoers worldwide saw things through the eyes of these pervy peeping Toms and were unlikely to forget the feeling. Despite also featuring a rather vocal sex scene featuring future star Kim Cattrall, there was only one scene from this teen sex comedy we could pick.

“The Graduate” (1967)

Here’s to you Mrs. Robinson. Before MILFs and cougars were everyday terms, a sexy older woman attempting to seduce a younger man was likely to be known as a Mrs. Robinson type. That was the degree to which this performance and the accompanying nude scene permeated our collective consciousness. Though it may have disappointed some of the film’s fanbase to learn that a body double was used, it in no way took away from how iconic the scenes became.

“Boogie Nights” (1997)

It makes perfect sense that a film focusing on the pornography industry would feature a lot of nudity. Although Julianne Moore and Nicole Ari Parker appear nude here, it’s Heather Graham’s Rollergirl that stands out. A character that is both innocent and intimidating, her willingness to have sex at a moment’s notice as well as her ability to pull off a dress in one fluid move is remarkable. Appearing entirely nude with the exception of her roller skates, the look of approval on Burt Reynolds’ face says it all.

“9½ Weeks” (1986)

Kim Basinger is a talented actress and beautiful woman who has zero qualms about sharing her body with the world. Taking off her clothes in numerous other films over the years, her revealing appearance in “9½ Weeks” quite possibly proved to be the steamiest. Both the striptease and rain-filled step sequences had people repositioning in their seats, but the kitchen floor scene is best remembered as it inspired many couples to incorporate food into their sex lives to mixed results. “Swordfish” (2001)

Unlike many of the other women on this list, Halle Berry was in cinema’s spotlight for many years before she decided to appear nude on film. Although she went on to have an Academy Award winning role that featured one of the most guttural sex scenes ever, topless Halle Berry will always be best remembered for her sunbathing scene in “Swordfish.” Berry was reportedly paid an extra $500,000 to show her breasts in the film, and many in the audience that as money well spent.

“Wild Things” (1998)

This film feels like it’s drenched in sex, so you can imagine that more than a few people appear nude. But some stand out in the audience’s memories than others. During a truly sexy three-way scene between Neve Campbell, Matt Dillon and Denise Richards, Richards is the only one to show off her birthday day while having wine poured all over her.

#3: Shannon Elizabeth
“American Pie” (1999)

The teen sex comedy was brought back full force with this sleeper hit and we think the Slovakian exchange student Nadia had a lot to do with it. Similar to the previously mentioned pervy shower scene, an unsuspecting high school student is watched without her permission by several teen boys. Unlike “Porky’s,” though, this was a one-woman show. Mixing together a couple of premature ejaculations, an awkward striptease, and this beautiful young woman, and you have a nude scene for the ages.

“Fast Times at Ridgemont High” (1982)

Few scenes in film history have been paused as many times as this memorable moment from “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.” As Phoebe Cates’ character finds herself exiting the pool in the fantasy of Brad Hamilton, she gives him and the audience a look at what’s underneath that red bikini top. Many other films have had fun with the sex fantasy trope; this one easily still stands out as the most titillating, however, additionally amounting to a hilarious comedic climax.

“Titanic” is an American epic full of breathtaking sights. Of course, the most amazing visual in the movie is Kate Winslet laid out wearing nothing but the Heart of the Ocean as Leonardo DiCaprio sketches her nude. The fact that “Titanic” went on to become the highest-grossing movie of its time also makes it possibly the most viewed nude scene ever. That alone could earn it the top spot on our list, but the nervous tension that permeates the scene, along with the beautiful way it was shot, ensured it.
