Top 10 Celebrity Marriages

What’s cuter than a heartwarming on-screen romance? A real life one. Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’ll be counting down our picks for the top 10 celebrity marriages.

For this list, we’re looking at the power couples of stardom that make us sigh and wait just a little more impatiently for our own true love to show up. Celebs who are only dating and common-law couples don’t count this time.

#10: David Beckham & Victoria Beckham

Staying together when both of you are superstars is no easy feat, but the Beckhams have it down to a science. Married since 1999, David and Victoria met at a charity football match 2 years earlier and it was all seemingly smooth sailing from there. From a lavish wedding that had the couple seated on golden thrones to Instagram birthday messages that make our knees weak, this couple has stuck together through thick and thin and shown us all a glimpse of what real love looks like. Not to mention parents to an adorable host of kids, the Beckhams are pretty much the definition of family and couple goals.

#9: Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi

Some couples get each other flowers for their anniversary - others spell out the date with jet plane tracks in the sky. The beloved talk show host and her wife Portia are no stranger to sweet gestures that the rest of us can only dream about, gushing over each other on social media like teenagers. Role models in both their private lives and as a couple, Ellen and Portia squashed divorce and marriage problem rumors the moment they came to life. Getting married at a Beverly Hills mansion was just a bonus for these two.

#8: Jay Z & Beyoncé

Can anyone dispute that Beyonce and Jay Z are the king and queen of the music scene? This power duo had rumors flying with their on-screen romance in Jay-Z’s music video for 2002 hit “03 Bonnie and Clyde”, with enough sparks to ignite a private marriage in 2008. A famously secretive couple, Yoncé and Jay-Z stuck by each other through a miscarriage in their first attempt to have children, the “Lemonade” scandal, and the arrival of daughter Blue Ivy - proving that when it comes to the Carters, nothing is getting in the way of ride or die.

#7: Chris Pratt & Anna Faris

Marrying your best friend is something all of us dream about. For Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, their marriage is that reality. A relaxed couple that’s not shy about flashing the romance, these two are a rock solid Hollywood duo. Both getting their start in comedy roles and specializing in playing goofier characters on screen, Pratt and Faris have that “so much in common” factor that makes their relationship oh-so-cute to watch. Appropriate to the couple’s sense of humor, Pratt credits his seducing of his now-wife by leaving porno magazines laying around his house when she visited - but hey, it worked, didn’t it?

#6: Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan Tatum

Who says sex stops once you get married? Definitely not the Tatums. These two claim their electric marriage is due to their open communication and steamy time between the sheets. Proud parents to a beautiful girl, Tatum and Dewan met on the set of the 2006 film Step Up. Foreshadowing Channing’s moves in Magic Mike, maybe? Either way, this star-studded couple has definitely got it going on. If you marry a stripper and a dancer, we can’t help but assume that the opportunities to explore are endless.

#5: Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds

With Ryan’s whip-fast humor and Blake’s endless elegance, this couple knocks the red carpet dead every minute they’re on it. Famous for their quips about and to each other on talk shows and social media, the Deadpool star and his drop-dead gorgeous wife have all of us hashtagging “goals” as fast as we can type. Everybody loves a couple who isn’t shy to show that they care about each other, and that’s clearly not an issue Reynolds and Lively struggle with. Starting as friends on the set of Green Lantern and moving on up to the wedded wonders they are today, these two have us convinced that finding somebody to laugh with is the best love of all.

#4: Dax Shepard & Kristen Bell

Couples therapy is usually the last resort - unless of course you’re Dax and Kristen, which in their case, it’s the secret to your happy marriage. Crediting therapy as their way to “work out” their relationship muscles, the couple makes sure that every issue that comes up in their married life is dealt with right then and there - no bottling up allowed. Getting married in a Beverly Hills courthouse, the duo keeps their personal lives on lock while still flaunting the heart eyes they have for each other when out and about. Wild road trips are just an extra.

#3: Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith

A marriage under the spotlight isn’t an easy thing to have - especially when you’re superstars Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Married since 1997, this long lasting couple has put their relationship first, with Jada quoted as saying "I will throw my career away before I let it break up our marriage." Rational and classy, the Smiths have beaten divorce rumurs time and time again. Whatever system the action-movie star and actress/businesswoman have decided to use, it’s clearly working out just fine for them.

#2: Hugh Jackman & Deborra-Lee Furness

Wolverine isn’t just low profile on the silver screen - he keeps his marriage hush hush, too. A private couple who’s been married since 1996, Jackman and Furness have ridden the rollercoaster that has been Jackman’s career together since the beginning. It takes a special kind of love to get through a quick rise to fame, and they’ve got it in spades. Mushy with birthday Instagram posts and cuddly when they’re out on the town, the two show no signs of flagging in their decades-long marriage. Forget Logan and Jean, these two are the real power couple we want to see.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel

Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka

John Legend & Chrissy Teigen

#1: Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson

Married for the equivalent of a lifetime in Hollywood years, this couple said “I do” all the way back in 1988. Hanks was wild for Wilson when they first met, claiming love at first sight had him head over heels. Keeping their relationship honest and open, the couple stayed strong through Wilson’s breast cancer diagnosis in 2015. It’s not hard to tell by the looks these two swap on the red carpet that their love hasn’t faded a bit over the years. Just like fine wine, these two keep getting better as time goes on.
