Sergio Aragones was born in Spain and eventually settled in Mexico, before he decided he wanted to devote his life to comics. He developed his skills as an artist, and eventually went to work for the famed satirical comedy magazine, MAD. He also created a long-lived and popular comic book series about a barbarian named Groo.
