The Russian Red Army Choir was founded in 1926 and was based in Moscow. The group was established by Russian composer Alexander V. Alexandrov, who also wrote the national anthem of the Soviet Union as well as other famous and popular classic Russian tunes. The choir itself comprises male tenor and bass voices, and is the official choir of the Russian Armed Forces. These strong voices, combined with the imposing military uniforms, make for an impressive experience, and have helped make this musical ensemble popular around the world. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com learns more about the Alexandrov Ensemble and even gets a performance from this historic group.
