Crescent City Connection
The Crescent City Connection is a pair of bridges that span the Mississippi River. In fact, these are two of the most-used bridges on that river, and some of the longest cantilever bridges in the world. The bridges can be viewed from the shore, and are an iconic piece of the landscape. In fact, take a walk along the river and watch massive cruise ships ride past the Crescent City Connection and into the harbor.

In fact, they have been an important part of the infrastructure since the early-1800s, and are some of the oldest street railways in the world. These streetcars are a great way to see the city sites, and catch a glimpse of days gone by.
Natchez Steamboat
The Natchez Steamboat is steeped in history, and is another great way to take a tour of New Orleans. Take a river cruise aboard this boat and sail past the French Quarter and into one of the world’s busiest ports. For a genuine and romantic ride, the Natchez can’t be beat.
