Found on the famed Bourbon Street, Galatoire’s is a popular restaurant that focuses on French Creole-style dishes. The restaurant’s décor is set to emulate traditional mid-19th century furnishing. Galatoire’s was founded in 1905, and has been a staple for residents and visitors since that time.

Crescent City Connection


The Crescent City Connection is a pair of bridges that span the Mississippi River. In fact, these are two of the most-used bridges on that river, and some of the longest cantilever bridges in the world. The bridges can be viewed from the shore, and are an iconic piece of the landscape. In fact, take a walk along the river and watch massive cruise ships ride past the Crescent City Connection and into the harbor.

Natchez Steamboat


The Natchez Steamboat is steeped in history, and is another great way to take a tour of New Orleans. Take a river cruise aboard this boat and sail past the French Quarter and into one of the world’s busiest ports. For a genuine and romantic ride, the Natchez can’t be beat.
