#5 Deserves: Lisa Kudrow

As one of the three central women on Friends, Lisa Kudrow provided fans with plenty to celebrate. Her character Phoebe earned hearty laughs throughout the entire run. From Smelly Cat to any number of running gags, the actress played one of the shows quirkiest and most entertaining roles. Its only fitting that shed be recognized for her integral role on the sitcom. Given that Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have stars, youd think that it would be more than fair to reward Kudrow as well. Theres also her many awesome roles outside of TV to recognize such as Romy & Micheles High School Reunion.

#5 Dont Want One: Clint Eastwood

Across television and cinema, Clint Eastwood has left his mark. His iconic status stretches from The Man with No Name to his work as Dirty Harry in the long-running series. Eastwoods directing career has been equally esteemed with Oscar-winning work for movies like Unforgiven. By the 2000s, he was arguably a living legend and definitely earned a potential star. The only thing is that Eastwood doesnt seem all that interested. Walk of Fame officials have offered him one, but the icon remains silent on the decision. He never seemed to be the kind of guy to rest on his laurels, choosing instead to make films into his 90s.

#4 Deserves: George Lucas

With the Star Wars series alone, George Lucas became one of the more successful men in movie history. His work as a director, producer, and storyteller helped to shape countless dreamers. Theres also his contributions to innovations in filmmaking techniques such as sound and special effects. Did we also mention that he helped create the Indiana Jones franchise? Lucas clearly earned his star decades ago, but theres no word on whether or not hell go for it. It probably doesnt matter that much to him considering all of the money and influence he has. Hes not the only sci-fi legend to be snubbed either, with James Earl Jones also missing the honor too.

#4 Dont Want One: Prince

Among the most talented people of the 20th century, Prince Rogers Nelson helped to redefine music in the 1980s. His status as a pop culture icon is undisputed. However, the man did not want a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He reportedly declined the invitation and died before ever receiving one in person. The artist earned plenty of praise and awards during his own lifetime, but this honor doesnt seem to be among the ones that he cared about. With his death in 2016, well never know whether or not the performer ever changed his mind. It looks like fans might be getting their wish as theres a more recent plan for him to get a star.

#3 Deserves: Beyoncé

She does have a star as part of Destinys Child, but Beyoncé has done plenty to earn her own spot on the Walk of Fame. Her tremendous solo career spans impressive work alongside Jay-Z and beyond. From I Am Sasha Fierce to Lemonade, the artist has clearly shown that shes a force to be reckoned with across many albums. You could also argue that she has more important priorities like global tours and new music. Her Grammys for a country-inspired album are just her latest success, making her an obvious choice to join other celebs on Hollywood Boulevard.

#3 Dont Want One: Madonna

Back in the 1980s, Madonna conquered pop music and became an all-around superstar. She has since sold many hit records, topped the charts, and toured the globe many times over. The artist also turned down the opportunity to be enshrined on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Reportedly in the 1990s, the singer declined a chance to be a part of history. It doesnt seem to be one of her main goals and shes since achieved so much elsewhere. Considering her impact on popular culture and music, the performer earned the prestigious honor many times over.

#2 Deserves: Robert Downey Jr.

With his role in Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. blasted back into the Hollywood A-list. His work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe reminded everyone of his status as a beloved and entertaining screen presence. This and a host of other great roles seemingly guaranteed him a spot on the Walk of Fame. Downey even joked about stealing Chris Hemsworths star, but he never got one himself. Hes not without his own honors, of course. He has the other rare honor of having his hand and footprints outside the TCL Chinese Theatre. Given his recent status as an Oscar winner, its even more crazy to imagine him without a star.

#2 Dont Want One: Oprah Winfrey

Given her dominance on television, Oprah Winfrey might as well be a gold standard for entertainment. Her multi-decade run as a talk show host set the bar high for her contemporaries. You might find yourself on the Walk of Fame wondering where her star might be. The presenter was selected as an honoree back in the early 2010s, but no ceremony ended up going forward. Its not like she hasnt been busy either. Her work as a philanthropist became a large part of her life, but she also has a TV channel. It just goes to show that even some of the most accomplished people in the industry dont mind skipping the prize.

#1 Deserves: Leonardo DiCaprio

Among the most acclaimed performers of his generation, Leonardo DiCaprio wowed audiences with his versatile roles. He got audiences talking in Titanic and later became one of the most revered leading men of the 2000s. After many years of being snubbed, the actor won an Oscar for his transformative performance in The Revenant. All the while, he hasnt appeared as an official member of the Walk of Fame. Some might attribute this status as an attempt to avoid the spotlight. Sometimes known for being shy, DiCaprio seems to prefer promoting his projects rather than himself. This could be one of many factors as to why he hasnt joined the revered list of honorees.

#1 Dont Want One: Julia Roberts

From Pretty Woman to Oceans Eleven, shes an icon with both box office success and awards. The Oscar winner for Erin Brockovich does not have a star though. Roberts apparently wants nothing to do with the honor, having allegedly avoided recognition for many years. Shes worked with many other nominees and she would easily fit right alongside them. The actress was nominated for inclusion in 2019, but theres been no word on her actually accepting the prize. As it turns out, this particular celebrity wants to focus on her work and not have her name on the famed sidewalk.
