Tap Dance Demonstration and History

in: hosted by Rebecca Brayton

Tap Dance Demonstration and History Tap dance is loud and exciting. It’s ironic that such a jubilant style of dance can be traced back to African slaves. Tap showcases similarities to other styles of dance, like clogging, Irish dance and even flamenco. Justin Jackson is a veritable dancing sensation, having appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Canada and The Wendy Williams Show, as well as the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies. In this video, WatchMojo.com heads to Studio Bizz to speak with Justin about how he first got into tap, the different styles and the history of the dance.
