Interview With Fear Factory's Gene Hoglan Formed in 1989, Fear Factory is a heavy metal band out of Los Angeles, California. The group disbanded briefly in 2002 and reformed a few months later. In April 2009, a new lineup was announced, featuring original member Dino Cazares and drummer Gene Hoglan. In 2010, Fear Factory released their seventh studio album, Mechanize, the first record with Gene Hoglan on drums.
