He may sing a good song and have style, but involving yourself with this serial killer won't get you killed softly. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we'll be pummeling through our picks for the top 10 moments in Killing Stalking.

Fittingly titled, this Korean web-comic has gained popularity for its boys' love elements and its dark themes and illustrates the account of a stalker-turned-captive and in turn, murderer.

For this list, we'll be looking at the series' most tension-filled scenes. This countdown will contain spoilers, as well as sensitive content; you have been warned.

#10: The Deadly Reveal

Having entered Sangwoo’s home after months of trying to figure out the pass-code to the door, Bum finds out the man he has been infatuated with is not who he seems to be when he encounters a woman bound, gagged, and noticeably beaten in the basement. Before he is able to help the blonde, Sangwoo suddenly sneaks up behind him with a baseball bat and proceeds to injure him badly, breaking Bum's legs. This scene sets the stage for the mind-games, suspense, and blood that is to follow.

Episodes 1-2

#9: Proving Commonalities

In order to confirm his suspicions that Sangwoo is connected to the murder of the CEO’s daughter, Officer Seungbae follows Bum into the staff bathroom of a bar where Sangwoo works. Although he is unable to find out any further information, he determines that Bum is also a victim when he sees the damage done to his legs. Hearing Sangwoo’s calls for him, Bum makes his escape. Overly cautious, however, Sangwoo also checks the stalls, leaving Seungbae with no choice but to hide behind the door on just his tiptoes to avoid being seen.

Episode 28

#8: Bum’s Second Attempt to Escape

Left alone on the auditorium floor, Bum makes his way to the exit where he is told he cannot leave until the recording of the festival is over. In desperation, he reveals he has been kidnapped but is quickly dismissed as a drunk by the man and a pervert by a female who he turns to next. With his calls for help unanswered, Sangwoo’s singing causes Bum to begin struggling once more with his conflicting feelings.

Episode 15

#7: Sangwoo and Bum Get Away with Murder

Seungbae’s efforts are in vain when his demotion from the investigation squad and his lack of an issued warrant bring his credibility into question. When Bum doesn’t provide any statements that can be used as evidence against his captor, Seungbae’s frustrations lead him to punching Sangwoo in the parking lot and consequently being removed from the force. Not only do Sangwoo and Bum walk free, but the situation is also deemed a discriminatory act against homosexuals and Seungbae is to never “harass” them again.

Episodes 34-35

#6: Poisoning Sangwoo’s Food

Tasked with throwing away whatever he deems useless within a box, Bum finds what appears to be rat poison, which he then in turn slips into a pot of stew with the intention of incapacitating his captor. When Sangwoo notices Bum’s abnormal behaviour at dinner, Bum is told to take the first sip and subtly forced in a position to swallow it. As Sangwoo’s only reaction to the stew was its saltiness, Bum’s suffered side effects were likely the result of anxiety and the anticipation of his demise. Regardless, the scenario serves as a twisted test of Bum’s obedience.

Episodes 4-5

#5: The Knife Fight

Seungbae’s recklessness and obsession with the case almost costs him his life when Sangwoo catches him hiding beneath the basement stairs. Revealing himself as a cop, Seungbae states he may shoot at his discretion. Seeing no signs of a gun, Sangwoo calls Seungbae’s bluff, and boasts that no one would suspect him if he were to kill him. Without a gun, the cop is forced to make do with both his surroundings and a Taser. He is, however, overpowered by Sangwoo. Pinned to the floor with a knife inches from his face, Seungbae manages to retrieve the Taser with his foot and use it just in the nick of time.

Episodes 30-31

#4: Bum’s First Attempt to Escape

After presumably gaining enough of Sangwoo’s trust, Bum is allowed to stay upstairs rather than be chained in the basement when his captor leaves the house. With nowhere else to return due to his family situation and having had glimpses of the Sangwoo he originally had had feelings for, Bum must fight the urge to remain. His fear of dying, however, leads him to make the choice to open the front door and discover that Sangwoo has in fact never left.

Episodes 7-8

#3: A Change of Heart

After discovering the injured, bloodied and quickly unresponsive Bum, Sangwoo responds in a cold manner much befitting of the sadistic psychopath. He then decides to take things a step further when he decides to finish off his victim with his trusted baseball bat. But before he can go through with it, Sangwoo suddenly showcases regret and desperation, and quickly tends to the unconscious Bum’s wounds. This scene offers insight into the psyche and unpredictable nature of Sangwoo.

Episode 27

#2: Bum Succumbs to his Delusions

Prompted by Jieun’s likeness to a female classmate he was once infatuated with, Bum is reminded of her abandonment towards him that he believes was unjust after having once shown him kindness. Dissociated from actuality, he repeatedly stabs Jieun. When Sangwoo asks him if he regrets his actions, Bum eerily responds with a smile and tells him he feels nothing at all.

Episode 19

#1: “Cops and Robbers”: A Card Game to the Death

Bringing home an older man he picked up at a gay bar, Sangwoo makes Seokho and Bum play a game of cards with their lives on the line. Bum is given a false sense of comfort when Sangwoo motions to the correct cards to pick, only to then be fooled into selecting the Joker, and thus becoming the “robber”. Too afraid to kill Bum despite Sangwoo’s chiding, Seokho is then blindfolded. With the knife taped in the other man’s hands, Bum is to be pushed into the weapon. A sadistic game involving the continuous toying of his victims by shifting special treatment between the two, it is revealed that Seokho was tricked into stabbing himself instead.

Episodes 9-10
