Hailing from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Breaking Benjamin is a rock band that got together in 1998. After receiving a positive reaction from home crowds, the band finally signed a record deal in 2002. Their popularity grew, although they managed to stay out of the mainstream. Since then, they have seen more mainstream success, and have grown their hardcore fanbase. Vocalist Benjamin Burnley is an original member of the group, and has been the primary songwriter since the band’s inception.
