Jason Michael Statham was born on September 12th, 1967 in the small town of Chesterfield, England, before growing up in London. Eventually, he devoted himself to gymnastics, diving and various fighting styles before becoming a male model. It was at that time that he was introduced to British director Guy Ritchie.
