Black Lagoon is one of the best dark comedy and best action scenes, also for an American adaption despite Rock being Japanese, but would be likely due to most the Lagoon Company members Dutch, Benny, and Revy originated from America.

Hellsing Ultimate kept the faithful materiel to it's original Manga depute, and some quite a lot of action and dark tone story and would start with an English Adaption from the country of the Untied Kingdom to the story's setting.
