$2.5 Million of Makeup Stolen & Leaked from Jeffree Star

This Huge Hijack of Unreleased Products Was Apparently an “Inside Job”

Whether or not you’re a fan of beauty/makeup, you’ve probably heard of Jeffree Star at this point and you’re about to hear a lot more. Since launching his own cosmetics brand, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, in 2014, Star has continued to release highly anticipated products internationally and almost immediately after announcing his new Blue Blood Collection, he was robbed of $2.5 million worth of makeup, including products that haven’t yet been released! Jeffree Star details the incident in the recent YouTube video below. It happened at around 1am on March 16 and according to Star, the culprit is someone who temporarily worked at his warehouse and tipped off a group of thieves, who came in through the roof and stole the products in connection to “Black market makeup dealers”.

Although Star was most worried about his new Blue Blood Collection, the stolen items turned out to be Northern Lights highlighter palettes, an entire shipment (5000 units) of new Platinum Ice palettes, thousands of lip liners and an ENTIRE shade (called C5) of a brand new, still unreleased, concealer line. This, of course, led to the leak of this new line called Magic Star.

Jeffree spoke about hiring an entire FBI team, who have tracked down the person who posted the photo below. That person is now in jail, while they investigate how they got access to the product in order to illegally market it.

The good news, as Jeffree puts it, is “you know bitch has FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE” and you can follow the progress of the incident by staying up-to-date with his Tweets:
