In the wake of the 2017 Manchester terrorist attack, Grande went above and beyond the call of duty when she organized a charity concert to help raise funds for the victims and their families. However, this was not the first time the pop star went out of her way to help those in need. Grande has helped raise awareness for a number of causes including LGBT rights, HIV and AIDS and the Black Lives Matter movement. In fact, at just 10 years old she co-founded Kids Who Care, a group of young singers who performed at charitable events to help raise money for a variety of causes. For Grande, giving back is second nature.

We’ve already established that Grande is more than willing to stand up for what she believes in, but did you know that includes animal rights? After watching the documentary “Blackfish”, Grande decided to boycott SeaWorld and urged her fans to do the same. It was also around this time that the multitalented signer became a vegan. However, refusing to eat meat is only the beginning. Grande has adopted multiple rescue dogs and in 2015 paid the adoption fees for 35 different pups that were in need of a home. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is!

Grande has never been shy when it comes to voicing her opinions about women’s rights. In fact, the singer has shut down the haters on several occasion when presented with lines of sexist questioning – particularly a 2015 radio interview with Power 106 in which she refused to go along with the hosts string of disrespectful and downright misinformed questions. A true role model for young women everywhere, Grande attended the 2017 Women’s March in solidarity with women from across the globe. The entertainment industry needs more people like Grande who are willing to go to bat for an important cause.
