Top 10 International Artists Who Deserve a Spot at Coachella
#10: Tul8te
Arab pop is having a moment in the global music scene right now, and this Egyptian singer is at the center of the conversation. The masked musician, known for songs like “HABEEBY LEH” and “Heseeny”, has established a unique sonic aesthetic around authenticity and experimentation. It is the perfect blend of retro sensibility, inspired by legends like Amr Diab, and modern influences of trap, flamenco, amapiano, indie-pop, and R&B. He has over two million monthly listeners on Spotify, millions of views on YouTube, and is touring the world. The mystery around his identity makes him even more alluring as an artist. Music lovers in the know would be thrilled by a Tul8te set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
#9: Msaki
The soulful, velvety voice of this South African artist is tailor-made for the golden hour at Coachella. Msaki released her EP “Entropy” in January 2026 to great acclaim and has achieved renown for working with stars like Black Coffee, Sun-El Musician, Jesse Clegg, and Kabza De Small. From amapiano, folk, and Afro-house to jazz, R&B, and pop, Msaki’s discography is eclectic, to say the least. She’s also an extraordinary lyricist – which means, one second you’ll be rethinking your life and the next, you’re dancing the night away. She’s the complete package!
#8: Mylène Farmer
Being able to book the Madonna of France would be an honor for Coachella. Mylène Farmer, who is famous for her enigmatic image, is one of the most successful pop artists in the European mainland. She has a cult following that has been eagerly awaiting her comeback. Word on the street is that the icon may have an album coming in 2026, and concerts could follow in 2027. While this isn’t confirmed, the rumored timeline opens up a possibility of Farmer stopping by the desert. The problem is, her shows are too grand for festivals. She doesn’t play around when it comes to production value, so Coachella will have to step up its game to get her on board, and they’ll get an unparalleled spectacle.
#7: SB19
It’s a shock that the Kings of P-pop haven’t taken over Indio yet. In the years since their debut, SB19 has grown into a global phenomenon. They are loved by fans, respected by fellow artists, and have achieved great critical and commercial success. Most importantly, one of their greatest strengths is their ability to execute the most jaw-dropping live shows. Not only have they toured all over the world, but the performances they’ve delivered at events like ACON 2025 and the 2025 Hito Music Awards are proof of their incomparable stage presence. Let’s not forget, their live vocals are also out of this world. An SB19 set at Coachella would be a highlight for attendees.
#6: Karan Aujla
This Indian superstar is making waves in the global entertainment industry, taking Punjabi music to a whole new level. His songs have cracked charts like OCC’s UK Asian chart, Billboard’s Canadian Albums and US World Albums rankings, and even RMNZ’s New Zealand Albums list. Karan’s performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has racked up millions of views on YouTube as well. His undeniable charisma, unstoppable energy, and magnetism on stage – as seen when he headlined Rolling Loud India – make him even more of a force to be reckoned with. What is Coachella waiting for?
#5: Feid
The “Luna” hitmaker is at the top of his game right now. In addition to commercial success, which has translated to numerous number ones on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, his records “Ferxxocalipsis” and “Ferxxo Vol X: Sagrado” were nominated for Grammys. He has high-profile collaborations with stars like Karol G and Bad Bunny under his belt, too. Moreover, he has previously performed at Coachella, albeit as a special guest for Blxst and Ty Dolla $ign. Feid now has his own music label called Grabaciones Los Poderosos and is set to play at the highly anticipated Hollywood Bowl in May 2026. He would undoubtedly bring the house down if he had a main slot at Coachella.
#4: Mayday
These Taiwanese rock stars are popularly called the Beatles of the Sinophone world. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know about their legendary status, consider the numbers. Since December 31, 2023, they’ve been on a massive tour called the #5525 Back To That Day Tour to celebrate their 25th debut anniversary. These shows have drawn millions of attendees, just like their previous Life Tour, which sold 4.15 million tickets. For fans, a Mayday Coachella set would be a legacy booking. Those uninitiated would leave the desert buzzing about Mandopop. It would be a win-win!
#3: Racionais MC's
While we’re on the topic of legends, we cannot forget about Brazil’s Public Enemy. For Racionais MC's, art is politics. Through their music, they address systemic issues such as social injustice and racism. While their revolutionary messaging has attracted much controversy over the years, it has also cemented their status as one of the most influential names in Brazilian rap. In 2022 Netflix released a documentary honoring their journey, called “Racionais MC's - From the Streets of São Paulo to the World”. Inviting this group for a Coachella set would not only be prestigious but also a powerful statement.
#2: Kenshi Yonezu
It is not uncommon for Coachella to shine the spotlight on Japanese artists. The desert has been graced by icons like YOASOBI, Atarashii Gakko!, and XG. The 2026 lineup notably includes Creepy Nuts and Fujii Kaze. It wouldn’t be surprising if the festival was eyeing Kenshi Yonezu next. The singer has worldwide appeal, thanks to songs like “Kick Back” and “Peace Sign”, which were used in the anime “Chainsaw Man” and “My Hero Academia” respectively. However, he isn’t just an anime star. Kenshi Yonezu is a chart-topping, globe-trotting art pop genius whose talents range from songwriting and composing to illustrating album covers and music videos. Given full creative control, the “Lemon” singer could deliver one of the most compelling Coachella sets ever.
#1: BTS
Logistics has to be the only reason why the Bangtan Boys haven’t headlined Coachella yet. They’re one of the biggest boy bands in music history, and the most influential group today. Now that the BTS members have completed their mandatory military service, their comeback album “Arirang” is all the rage. When they announced a world tour supporting the record, they effectively broke the internet. Considering that the Arirang World Tour will extend well into 2027, it might be even harder to book them for Coachella. However, a stop at Indio, California, might not be impossible … or so we’re hoping. The festival needs the grandeur of a BTS production to maintain its status as the tastemaking GOAT. The desert can’t wait to turn purple.
