Sometimes you wish that these vultures would leave the poor celebrities alone. Other times, you can’t help but be amazed by their work. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 craziest moments caught by paparazzi. For this list, we’re looking at the most historic and amazing moments of celebrity culture that were caught by the paparazzi and their cameras. We’re excluding things like Paul Walker’s Porsche crash because that was captured on security footage, and not by paparazzi. In order to be eligible, the photo or video has to have come from a professional paparazzo.

In 2006, Heath Ledger and an accomplice were photographed and filmed snorting cocaine in Los Angeles’ famous hotel Chateau Marmont. And Ledger was at the top of his game, as this was the same year he was nominated for an Academy Award for “Brokeback Mountain,” becoming more popular than ever and receiving critical acclaim for this work. After Ledger’s death from an overdose of prescription medication, word got out that he apparently regularly consumed drugs, with cocaine and ecstasy allegedly among his favorites. However, the pictures did little damage to his reputation, as he– posthumously– won an Oscar for his turn as The Joker.

Delevingne and Rodriguez are both famous actresses, the former known for her recent role in “Paper Towns,” and the latter a well-established Hollywood tough chick. After meeting only a few months previously, the romantic couple was filmed on a Mexican beach frolicking in the water and passionately kissing. To make matters even more interesting, Cara ditched her top and was openly exposing her breasts for all to see. Even though the pair is fourteen years apart in age, it definitely seems like that’s not stopping them from having a good time.

While there’s no denying the resurgence that Justin Bieber is having, we don’t think anyone particularly needed to see these pics, yet here they are. While vacationing in Bora Bora with his rumored girlfriend Jayde Pierce, Justin was photographed completely naked walking around the front deck of his resort. While we can say that Bieber probably didn’t intend anyone to see this, we wouldn’t be surprised if he noticed the photographer and “accidentally” forgot to put on some pants. At least he doesn’t spit on his fans! Oh wait...

After meeting Robert Pattinson while filming “Twilight” together, Stewart began a low-profile relationship with the actor. Without being all judgey, for most people, being in a romantic relationship means you stay faithful to that person. Stewart apparently didn’t think so, because in July of 2012, photos were released of her hooking up with “Snow White” director Rupert Sanders. While Stewart publicly apologized, the photos proved to be their downfall, as Pattinson split with Kristen soon after. At least we learned one thing; no matter what she’s doing, she always looks unimpressed.

In February 2006, pictures were released of Brit-Brit driving her car with one hand while her son was sitting in her lap instead of, oh, you know, in a car seat. Suffice to say, everyone lost their marbles, and Spears quickly came under fire from the general public and child advocates alike. That same baby was almost dropped on his head, a moment which was also caught by the paparazzi, and all this negative attention probably helped lead to her nervous breakdown wherein she famously shaved her head... a move which was also caught by thepaparazzi.

Nigella Lawson is a famous chef, host of her own cooking shows on television and owner of a cookware company called Living Kitchen. While her professional life may be thriving, her personal life wasn’t. In September 2003, she married art collector, Charles Saatchi (satchi), and in 2013, photos surfaced of Saatchi grabbing Lawson by the neck outside of a London restaurant. While Saatchi claimed that he was just playing, Lawson and the court thought differently, and he was cautioned for assault. She was left emotionally damagedby the incident, and divorced Saatchi one month later.

Tupac Shakur is...well, you know who Tupac is. Or at least, you should. On September 7, 1996, this world-renowned rapper attended a boxing match in Las Vegas with Suge Knight, a highly controversial figure in the hip hop world. At 11:15 that night, Shakur was the victim of a drive-by that left him dead and Suge injured. This famous picture was taken right after the boxing match as he and Suge were leaving the arena in Suge’s BMW, and is now world famous for being the last picture of a living Tupac.

A member of the legendary 27 Club after succumbing to alcohol poisoning, Winehouse was an acclaimed singer, known for her unmistakable voice. She was a known troublemaker, however, as she incurred numerous lawsuits and was prone to bouts of violence when she was drinking. That’s what’s up in this picture, which was the result of a physical fight she’d had with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. While Winehouse appears with bloody shoes and a bruised face, she claimed that her wounds were self-inflicted. We don’t know if that was true or not, but it does make for a harrowing picture.

While he undoubtedly made some of the finest pop music of all time, there’s no denying that Jackson was one weird dude. In 2002, Jackson’s third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, was born, and to congratulate himself and show his beautiful son off to the world, he decided to dangle the baby over a balcony four stories above the ground in a move that garnered severe criticism. Jackson later apologized, calling it a “terrible mistake,” but the moment was captured on film and became a source of parody and ridicule for years to come.
