#10: Chris Evans

“Monstourage”

You heard that right, THE Captain America appeared in “Robot Chicken.” Well, technically Evans had yet to pick up the shield when he lent his voice to this Season 3 episode. However, Evan had established himself as Johnny Storm in “Fantastic Four.” Evans reprises his role as the Human Torch along with Michael Chiklis in a dual role as the Thing and Vic Mackey. Evans can also be heard as a pilot, a teacher, and Gobo Fraggle. However, it’s the clever crossover between Marvel and “The Shield” that makes Evans’ cameo stand out. It’s the multiverse event we didn’t know we wanted!

#9: J.K. Simmons

“The Departy Monster”

Appearing in an episode that combines “The Departed” and “Party Monster,” J. K. Simmons once again proves that there isn’t a role he can’t tackle. He voices three characters - Frankenberry’s father, Master Chief, and Vernon Schillinger. In the Frankenberry segment, Simmons portrays a dad who is rather unhappy with his son’s dating life. Master Chief’s whole thing is his refusal to show his face at all costs. And in Oz Prison, Simmons plays an inmate who makes it clear that the top bunk is reserved for people who give him… erm… special favors. A few moments later, he has an unfortunate encounter with the Scarecrow, showing what happens when two very different Ozes collide.

“Due to Constraints of Time and Budget” & “Cannot Be Erased, So Sorry”

English actor, writer, and comedian Simon Pegg appears in two “Robot Chicken” episodes. He voices several characters in the “Due to Constraints of Time and Budget” episode, including Blue Meanie and Blue Meanie General. In the “Ping Them Back” segment, Pegg also gives voice to Beatles George Harrison and Ringo Starr, as they sing in the Yellow Submarine. In the episode “Cannot Be Erased, So Sorry,” he plays Humping Robot with a Daniel Day-Lewis twist. He also shows up as the voice of Scarecrow and Eric Draven of “The Crow.” “Robot Chicken” really loves “Wizard of Oz” crossovers, doesn’t it?

The late Carrie Fisher was undoubtedly one of the most recognizable “Star Wars” actresses ever. She got to reprise her role as Princess Leia in the “Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II.” Of course, this Princess Leia got to be a bit more raunchy with her fellow “Star Wars” characters than the original one. In the very first skit of the episode, Leia is involved in a fantasy scene created by Nerd. Later on, she kind of makes fun of Luke Skywalker for missing Obi-Wan Kenobi, whom he met just a day ago when her whole planet got destroyed. Fisher definitely showed us a very different side to Leia in addition to voicing Krayt Dragon's Mother and Mon Mothma.

#6: Charlize Theron

“Book of Corrine”

Charlize Theron got to appear in the second season of “Robot Chicken,” way back in 2006. She played two mother characters, one in the “Robot Chicken Taken Over!” segment and another in “Yum-Yum Train.” She also voices the waitress in the “Pepsi Haters” segment where a patron demands a Coca-Cola. There can be only one soft drink! Matt Senreich revealed that Charlize ended up on the show because she was in the movie “The Italian Job” with Seth Green. They just called people Seth worked with in the past and asked if they wanted to be on the show. It was another mission that Theron couldn’t resist.

#5: Tom Hiddleston

“Butchered in Burbank”

In this episode, the “Loki” actor plays a character simply known as Robot #1 in two segments, and is the narrator in “Revised Lessons of Dr. Seuss.” In one of the skits, the two robots are faced with the dilemma of getting rid of a human while he’s sitting on the toilet. They self-destruct due to paradoxes. His Dr. Seuss narration focuses on the story of putting profit over value as famous characters are slowly drawn to money more than integrity. Hiddleston does a great job at giving a Seuss-ian voice to the whole skit, making the words leap off the pages and onto the screen.

#4: Snoop Dogg

“Squaw Bury Shortcake”

Snoop Dogg is parodied in four episodes of “Robot Chicken,” although most of the time he’s voiced by Seth Green. The rapper only voiced himself in one episode. “Robot Chicken” enlisted Dogg for the segment “Bob Barker's New Gig,” in which the “Price is Right” host takes neutering pets too far. This extends to humans who can transform into dogs, Snoop being one of them. Snoop engages in combat with Barker, all while looking pretty darn fabulous. He ultimately loses to Barker’s ninja-like skills and explodes. Between Snoop and Happy Gilmore, never underestimate Barker in a fight.

The versatile actress appears in several episodes, playing characters such as Dolores, Veronica Lodge of Archie Comics, and even Sailor Moon. Arguably the strangest character that Johansson has ever played on the show would have to be the Cheerleader Stick, who is quite literally a popsicle stick dressed as a cheerleader. Johansson also plays a Tooth Fairy in what has to be one of the show’s darkest sketches. For all of the colorful characters that Johannson has accepted, her funniest role might be as herself in a sketch entitled “A Date With Scarlett.” In addition to winning a date with Scarlett, The Nerd wins her heart. Unfortunately, this Scarlett isn’t everything that the Nerd imagined.

As an actor with such an impressive resume, it’s only fitting that Bryan Cranston plays several diverse roles in “Robot Chicken.” In Season 5, he even appears in three episodes in a row. Throughout the show, he voiced characters such as Gandalf, Leland Stanford, and Grim Reaper. His most notable skit is the “Breaking Bad” parody where he plays Walter White. In the segment, Walter White Jr. eats breakfast, which became a running gag for the fans of the show. The segment is actually acted out by most of the main “Breaking Bad” actors, which is pretty special.
