The landscape in the Arctic is changing, and that is largely due to climate change. The ramifications of this transformation are widespread – native animals are endangered, natural resources are being revealed, and Inuit peoples are struggling. Receding glaciers have an impact not just on the Arctic itself, but on the entire world. Veteran Arctic journalist Ed Struzik traveled to the North 11 times over the span of one year to research the problem, and bring us his book, 'The Big Thaw: Travels in the Melting North.'
