Travel To Dublin, Ireland A strong sense of history pervades the Irish capital city of Dublin. Influential writers such as Oscar Wilde and James Joyce both at one point called this city home; evidence that the city is a fascinating spot for intellectuals and artists. Dublin is known as one of Europe’s most friendly cities, and one well-known for its booming nightlife. Much of the area’s socializing goes on in popular local pubs, restaurants and cafés. It is also famous for its beautiful landscapes, views and parks, including Europe’s largest enclosed urban park, Phoenix Park.
