As a cold-blooded murderer, kidnapper and bank robber, he starred as Seth Gecko, a badass anti-hero who took charge when things literally went to hell in this offbeat vampire horror flick.

One of his most serious and subdued roles, Clooney played the part of journalist Fred Friendly in the riveting true story of a legendary newsman and his quest to bring down commie-baiting Senator Joe McCarthy.
