Interview with Matt Costa Born June 16th, 1982 in Huntington Beach, California, Matt Costa was a former professional skateboarder who began recording EPs in the early 2000s. In 2005, he dropped his full-length debut and spent the summer touring with Jack Johnson. The next year, he collaborated with the singer-songwriter on the "Curious George" movie soundtrack and released two more records before decade's end. His next album is set to be released in 2012.
