Che Guevara: Life of the Argentine Revolutionary Born June 14th, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina, Che Guevara studied medicine at university. However, while traveling to the poorer areas of Latin America, he turned to politics in the hopes of launching change. He soon met Fidel Castro and joined his revolutionary cause, helping him and his Movement to overthrow Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. Guevara spent several years in several influential posts in Cuba but ultimately left to transmit his revolutionary ideas elsewhere. He was killed supporting his beliefs in Bolivia.
