Indian summer arrives in late-September and lasts only a few weeks. This phenomenon is like a prolonged summer, with beautiful warm and sunny days marking the end of the season.
Québec City is one of the snowiest cities in Canada, receiving on average approximately 125 inches annually. Fortunately, this means there is almost always a white Christmas in the city. This is also why the Québec Winter Carnival was created. Winters are fairly cold, seeing temperatures ranging from -13 to 25 degrees.
Spring and autumn in Québec are relatively short seasons. However, autumn is a beautiful time to see the city, as it brings impressive and colorful foliage.
With skiing in the winter, and plenty of festivals and outdoor activities in summer, there is never a dull moment in Québec City.
