Born in Vancouver, British Columbia on Oct 23rd, 1976, he become interested in acting at an early age. As a result, he formed a improv troupe, before landing the leading role on the Nickelodeon high-school soap opera, “Fifteen.” After the series ended, he took on several made-for-TV movies, before landing his breakout role as med student Michael “Berg” Bergen on the sitcom, “Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place." This opened the door to a number of film roles, including the lead in “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder.” Not content with just appearing in comedies, he transitioned to action star for “Blade: Trinity” , “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, and "The Green Lantern", while remaining a fixture of romantic comedies, such as "The Proposal."
