Born June 9, 1961, Michael J. Fox rose to fame in the 1980s as the baby-faced star of the sitcom, Family Ties. He went to become one of the most popular film stars of the decade by starring in such films as the Back to the Future trilogy, Teen Wolf and The Secret of My Success. He remained popular through the '90s, and towards the end of that decade he announced he was suffering from Parkinson's disease.
