Mordecai Richler: Bio of Barney's Version Author
One of the most famous and most polarizing figures in Canadian literature is Mordecai Richler. He was both loved and despised for his outspokenness, making enemies of many. It was also said that he "made Canada cool," by painting a picture of life in the country that was riveting. After his death in 2001, novelist Charles Foran decided to undertake an extensive biography of the author, to get a glimpse at all sides of Richler, public and private.
