Travel Guide: Florida

This southern state borders the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. It also features seemingly perpetual sunny and warm weather, which is one reason its nickname is the Sunshine State. Florida is well-known for its large Latin American and European populations, and it thrives on this ethnic diversity. The state is also famous for its wildlife, including such endangered species as the manatee and Florida panther. Don't forget the state's large alligator population, as well.
