Red Bull's Project Air was a training session for their surfing team that helped with physical as well as mental preparedness for the open water. The team was also fortunate enough to get a gift from world-famous surfer Mark Richards: a replica of his 1978 Pipe Weapon board. This gift is reminiscent of the boards used in early surf competitions, and enables this new generation of surfers to better understand the history of their sport.
