NYC Chef David Chang Reveals His Food Philosophy

Owner of several restaurants in New York City under the name Momofuku, David Chang is a Korean-American chef. The subject of hype and labeled one of NYC’s it chefs, Chang combines Western and Asian ingredients in his recipes. He is famous for his explosive personality and propensity for swearing, and wants his restaurants to cater to everyday hungry folks. Chang paired up with New York Times writer Peter Meehan to release a cook book outlining recipes from his restaurants, appropriately entitled Momofuku.
